We had a few minor issues in our home that needed fixing, as well as looking to install a new outlet in the garage and an EV charger. Alex and team were friendly, responsive, on time, and was able to work with my limited availability. We had some miscommunication regarding the installation of the EV charger but Alex was willing to work out a mutually agreeable solution for us, which I appreciate.

Overall, this is a great company to work with, and we will continue to look for them for our future electrical issues.

We had an issue with a GFCI breaker. We messaged Alex & Alex and were easily. able to get an appointment scheduled at our preferred time. The technician arrived promptly, and was extremely thorough in his assessment--there wasn't much reason to suspect the issue was more than a bad breaker, but he verified the circuit and the outlet, confirming that everything beyond the breaker appeared to be just fine. He also was just extremely friendly and offered lots of other genuinely helpful advice.

I have nothing but praise for Alex & Alex and would call them again in a heartbeat!! I had been searching for an electrician for the past three weeks to install an electric outlet in my parking garage. This may sound like a simple job, but I live in a condo and hence have a communal garage. My parking spot is more than a hundred feet from the main electrical panel, so it is more labor-intensive than it seems. Plus, getting approval from my HOA was an arduous task and took lots of emails back and forth. Alex and his team were so patient, helpful, and professional during this entire frustrating process. Every time my HOA had questions or asked for a document, Nate, Alex's team member, was lightning quick in responding and providing the required documents. When we finally got approval to start the installation, Alex brought his team of technicians and completed the job in no time. When I tried using the plug, I couldn't get it to work, so Alex sent a technician the very next day to help. I even asked them to attach my charger to the concrete wall which they did for me as a service. Alex and his entire team were just so wonderful and pleasant to work with. I am so grateful that I came across such honest and professional electricians who really respect their clients and truly want what's best for them, especially because of the many ""competitors"" in this business that show a complete opposite side. I've worked with several electricians for rental properties, my residence, and my business and NONE of them come close to how knowledgeable, thorough, and competitively priced Alex and Alex Electrical Services are!

I have a property in the Del Rey area that was built in 1944 and we found cloth wires throughout, which can be so dangerous. I called for my first estimate and the electrician just checked the wiring behind a flushmount and gave me a ridiculously high quote. A second electrician came and didn't even look at the wiring, just walked through the house and sent me a text message with a quote. Third times a charm! Alex came for an estimate, pulled several outlets, checked the wiring in the attic, THOROUGHLY inspected the work that was needed and immediately sent me the most detailed quote!

I ended up hiring Alex and Alex to not only rewire the property but replace canister lighting, install a universal Tesla charger, mount a TV, install GFIC devices, install an induction stove outlet, a WYZE camera, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors!

We had a breaker go out for a few outlets in our kitchen, and Alex & Alex Electrical Services scheduled an appointment within a couple of days to troubleshoot. Alex came for the repair. He checked all of the outlets and found out they were poorly wired, rewired them, replaced an outlet as well as the breaker in the electrical panel. In doing so, he walked me through the repair in detail so I know what to look out for next time. The quality of service is exceptional, which why I keep using them and it's been years now.

My husband researched hard and had multiple electrician consultations before he trusted Alex and his team to handle our complicated electrical needs. We live in one of the old houses built in the 1920s in Hollywood Hills. We need a certified, insured, bonded, and licensed electrician who could upgrade our sub-panel to accommodate the installation of an EV wall charger.

Following a phone conversation, Alex promptly dispatched his team for the initial inspection. Their swift response and the fact that they provided us with very reasonable pricing, which was lower than others in the market, made us feel valued and respected. They are upfront in conducting their business and did not charge us any hidden fees.

Despite the difficulty and complexity of the work due to the elevation of the location where they had to install the EV-Wall charger, his electricians were friendly, professional, and efficient. My husband had joy in making them an espresso and seeing them work with the speed and diligence of bees, ensuring their job was done to a high standard.

Overall, we are delighted with the quality of their output. The LA City Inspector fully sealed and approved their work, which allowed us to have a home EV-TESLA wall charger. Thank you, Alex and your team! Now, we do not have to worry about competing for the TESLA Supercharger Station at night.

I found this company though Tesla's list of certified installers (and there were many) and I'm glad I checked the reviews before deciding to go with Alex & Alex. There were some larger companies on the list, but the reviews showed that much like a larger company tends to do, they didn't provide good customer service. Alex on the other hand was personable, knowledgeable, punctual, helpful and professional. He came and thoroughly explained everything to me. They worked around my schedule, acquired all the necessary permits, scheduled the inspection and assisted with my rebate paperwork. I really can't say enough good things about my experience Alex & Alex. If I have any type of electrical work done in the future it will be with them.

Very pleased with the installation of a Tesla level two charger. Alex and his team were responsive, knowledgeable and professional. They suggested a lower cost option which avoided having to work with SCE to run a new cable from the street (saving schedule, too). They worked quickly to successfully resolve the few issues from the initial inspection. For reasonable cost and schedule, we can now charge our Tesla six times faster than before. Thanks Alex!

Alex & Alex are incredibly impressive. Talk about knowing your trade. On top of being all-around good guys.

I thought I needed a routine fix for a tripped circuit breaker. It turned out to be much more involved.

Alex explained it all, walking me through the entire process.

He ended up troubleshooting and repairing wall outlets, fixed the circuit breaker and even installed a very tricky ceiling fan.

All in a matter of two hours.

Best of all, the initial quote and final invoice were extremely reasonable.
