They installed a 240V plug for my electric vehicle. They were quick to provide a quote and scheduled service within a short window. I was happy with the work they did. I had to call them back since the orientation of the plug was not the best for my charger location. They came out to fix the orientation without any hassle, very quickly and as a warranty call at no charge. Great service! I will be calling them if I need any electrical work done in the future.

Our multi-floor early 1900's Craftsman style house in San Francisco needed to be completely re-wired it to bring it up to code, including replacing some old knob and tube.

Mike came in and gave us confidence that Aleco is are experienced with such SF ""antique"" homes and the re-wiring challenges. Also, since this was done during COVID times, and we weren't really able to leave the house during this ~5 week project, Mike gave us comfort that Aleco are used to doing such significant projects while people are still living in the home. Throughout the project, Aleco reiterated their commitment to customer satisfaction.

While this wasn't the cheapest bid we received, it was competitive.

As noted, this was a big project, but they were able to do it with minimal invasiveness, usually creating a two smallish (~5""x5"") holes in each room, one near the top of the wall and the other nearby above on the ceiling. With these two holes, they were able to fish wires through the walls and ceilings as well as route between floors.

The Aleco electricians who did the work were careful with our home and belongings and did their best to stay out of our way, working on one or two rooms at a time and wearing masks throughout their workday. Different from other vendors, they also patched their holes in the plaster (we still have to re-paint).

Glad to have that job done, but we're happy that we went with Aleco.

Our time frame was from 8-11. The technician called around 8:20 said he would be here at 9, he didn't show up until almost 10. When he arrived he sat in his truck for about 5 minutes texting on his phone. Then walks to the porch stands there a bit more and continues texting. He finally rings the door bell and when I open the door he has no mask on. He is clueless of what he's supposed to do because when he walks inside he states, ""what am I supposed to do here"". I then tell him and he has us move the stuff from the bar table so he can put a covering on our furniture, which I thought was great. But then he said that he's not sure he can install the new bracket for the ceiling fan because our ceiling is wobbly, he says this as he's hitting our ceiling. We have had a fan in that place and never had any issues so I told him the ceiling was fine and to proceed. He installed the new bracket and the fan and light worked just fine, no wobbling. He picked up the furniture covering and left all the mess on the floor. The first technician who came out and did the troubleshooting for us discovered that there was nothing wrong with our wiring, we had just bought a faulty fan. It was because of Alan's professional customer service that we decided to have Aleco Electric come back and do the installation in a new fan.

I understand nobody is perfect, but a call stating they were going to be late would have been nice. I understand that there are times when you have to make a call or text someone, but it's professional to park away from the customers house view to handle personal business. It is also being professional to clean up any mess you make, so that you leave the customers house exactly like it was before you came. It would be nice to have the technician read the work order before entering the home, instead of asking the customer what it is they need and look unprepared. However, none of these things took place, and for me that is a poor customer service.

I made appt and was given 2 hour window 12p-2pm. It was 2pm and no one at my home and no phone call from Aleco. I call and girl on line tries to tell me my appt is 1pm-3pm, I have a text confirmation of my scheduled time. I'm arguing with her about to cancel appt then doorbell rings and it's electrician. Steven was professional and friendly. He found problem and let me know my options. The whole house had power except one of the bedroom.

I requested an estimate for transfer switch. Mike came on time and look what I needed. He explained what are my options in detail. Mike is very friendly and informative. Like on some other reviews about up selling, he never try to sell me any extra stuff. As a matter of fact, he was showing me how to save money. If you need any electrical work done, you should try Aleco electric.

I recently worked with Adam G. and Aleco Electric to install emergency lighting at two of my NAPA Auto Parts locations. Adam was quick to respond when we contacted the company for a quote. I explained our tight deadline to get the installations and other small electrical work completed and Adam had electricians at both stores within just a few days.

After the repairs were completed I walked the job and everything looked great and the work that was performed was exactly as requested. I also appreciate the quick response so my I could complete the project before the deadline.

Thanks to Adam's professionalism and the quality of work that was performed we will be using Aleco Electric for any future repairs.

Mike was awesome. He came out and offered to fix for a higher price or said I could do it for the price we were at already for him coming out. He verified that I just needed a new AFCI outlet and then walked me through exactly what I would need to do. He even gave me his cell phone for if I got stuck, took out the outlet, and turned off the power to that outlet. I did end up paying $125 but his advice and support was worth every penny.

What fantastic, professional service! Tony and his crew are very friendly and caring. During the recent storm a client of ours (Visiting Angels Home Care) power was lost due to falling branches. Tony was on the job almost immediately and had his crew work all weekend to upgrade the ancient electrical service, as SMUD required and restore power. His team demonstrated that they really care for the customer. I recommend them highly for any electrical needs.
