I've been reading the reviews, and my experience was quite different. We recently moved into our new home, and the dryer breaker kept tripping. I received excellent customer service from the receptionist, who explained that the code had changed and our dryer was incompatible, causing the breaker to trip. She offered to share a video to help me change the wiring inside the dryer.

While the appliance technician suggested changing out the breaker, the receptionist advised against it, stating it would be out of compliance, which we definitely wanted to avoid. She was incredibly helpful, and the video made a difference--our dryer is now working perfectly! Additionally, she provided an emergency contact number for after-hours and weekends.

A big thanks to Monica for her assistance!

truck # 29 driving driving with road rage. Tailgating and flashing his lights to my elderly mother whom is in the slow lane. Cursing and hand jester as he passed. Not ok and dangerous hopefully he's reprimanded

Alamo City Elite Electric is very bad at their job. The install was very amateurish and acknowledged by one of their own techs. THE RECEPTIONIST (maybe part owner) IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE. SHE WAS RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND THREATENING. She had zero people skills and when I challenged her about some false information, she threatened to charge me a $170 fee if it didn't work multiple times. I heard her get into a cussing match with my building manager in the past, but to go through it with her nasty attitude, it was eye opening. This is all because of a new code that requires a dryer be put on a GFCI breaker. IF you or your builder is considering doing business with Alamo City Elite Electric, RUN!!!!!!!!!!

Recently these contractors were used in our home, there was an issues due to an error on the builders side (KB Home) and they did not finish the work. The technician that was sent out was nice and explained that once everything with sorted out with the builder he would be happy to come out to our home and finish. After trying to get with the builder to schedule them back I was informed that they refused to come back out, I could not understand why since there were no issues the first time aside from the issue with KB Home which was not something on their part nor did my husband and I blame them. Today I tried to find out if in fact they were refusing to come out or if that was just a lie from the builder to blame the contractor, I spoke with Monica who informed me that it was true they would not be out to complete the work on my home, she would not tell me why, she simply stated I needed to get with our builder. It astonishes me that someone would provide that kind of service, not to mention agree to come back out then decide other wise without notice or reason. I wish the business the best of luck if this is how they choose to run things. Overall the technicians were nice and were able to complete half the job but not complete it for reasons we were not given, not by the builder and not by monica. Should they wish to discuss the matter further I would be happy to.

Within a few years of our home being built, I saw a plastic hose type tube halfway out of the ground, coming from my well, exposed for a foot, that my lawnmower could have hit if the blades were lower. It was the underground electric line from the breaker box to my well. I called the company and explained the situation. The employee said I would need to pay their $85 service charge for a technician to check it out. I explained that an electric line should have been buried at least 6"" or more in the ground instead of a small trench with dirt tossed over it. She said if they had to replace the line it would cost much more. I again explained this problem started with sloppy work on their part. I finally hung up and dug the trench by hand for about 25' until it was about 8""-10"" in the ground. I then purchased dirt fill for the trench. I also found most of the electric plugs in my kitchen were loose, which I had to tighten. Our home is now 11 years old and this morning as I was going up my stairs to the ""Man Cave,"" I saw the ceiling light on a chain was hanging by the electric wires and about 3' from the stairs. It broke loose from the ceiling mount, which appears to be plastic with the wrong screws holding it to the connection box. I'm not even calling this company but I will let the builder know so they don't use this company again since it looks bad for a builder who has been in the business for almost 50 years.

This is the worst electrical company you could ever imagine!!!! The lady who answers the phone thinks it's funny that your home could burn down due to their poor electrical work. She's very rude!!!! She doesn't care about the customers or helping them. Unfortunately, they did the wiring to our new home and have been to my home several times and they still can't manage to fix things and the lady thinks it's funny. They literally had my laundry room and garage hooked up together and it took them about 4 times before they figured it out! She now tells me I can't plugged my Christmas lights if I want to have my internet plugged in!!!!! This is outrageous and very horrible work! She said ""well it past inspection"". I would like to know which inspector from the county signed off and how much they were paid...to ok this work?? It's sad and if anything happens to my family because of their horrible electrical work.....I will seek legal council. Wish I could post a negative star.

Called to use the 1 year warranty on the new home I just bought and the ""manager"" was extremely rude to me. She tried to tell me that the breaker the kept tripping was my fault because we installed a ceiling fan even after I told her that it was tripping before we installed the fan. HORRENDOUS customer service!!
