I was adding another review on Yelp and noticed that I was listed as having 1 previous review. This was inaccurate, since I had 2 reviews. However, when I looked up my reviews, I saw that my review of Al & Robin Torres Plumbing & Heating had been erased! I'm not blaming Yelp, because I think I did this myself somehow, when I went in to make a correction. (I'm new to Yelp.) Anyway, I'm rewriting my recommendation for this company, and really, it is a better to write at this time, since it has been a little while since the work was done. Sometimes, work I've had done in the past with other companies looked good at first, but didn't stand the test of time. This is not the case with this company.

Al & Robin Torres Plumbing & Heating did a lot of work for us. We have an older home and had been meaning to upgrade for years. Their company was recommended to us by a neighbor, who had had extensive work done and was very pleased. Those folks told us that their mother had used this company for years and wouldn't go to anyone else. That sounded good to us, so we hired them.

Everything they did was absolutely first rate. We added central air and heating, replaced our old plumbing with copper, had a washer and dryer installed in the garage, put in a new water heater, upgraded one bathroom and our kitchen and more. Their work was quality all the way - quality materials, quality work, quality execution, quality cleanup - and the people were so nice. They truly cared about our project. They were with us every step of the way, helping us to make the wisest choices based on their years of experience. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.

I've tried quiet a few plumbing a shops to come over and identify the problems I've been having with my drains I called al & robin Torres they sent over Sam he found the problem had it solved in an hour if your looking for generous professional clean gentleman al &robin Torres plumbing & heating there work is highly recommended

I very disappointed with there service.there tech came to exchange a drainage pipe that was leaking under my sink and never mentioned if I wanted to change my other pipe that was connected to the garbage disposal.now I find I need to change the pipe which I will have to pay another crazy fee to change the pipe.i called to ask why didn't they change the other pipe that was also damage but not leaking,and the owner (female owner)proceed to tell me because I didn't ask?ok...I'm not a plumber and I know he saw the pipe, and why didn't he mentioned the that the pipe would need to be change soon?,when everything was already taken apart,maybe because they could charge again for another service?..then the next day I called to ask if they fixed faucets and she said yes and that they also sold new faucets with the cabinet,which I have been planing to do .i said great and she said I will call you tommorwo so I can make a appointment to come and give you an estimate.well she never called and I never called back because I figure if she didn't call me ,I must have not been important enough .so I never followed through and went with another company that done an great job on my bathroom.and they where the ones who told me why didn't the tech change the pipe that was connected to garbage disposal..so to me TORRES PLUMBING CO.show me there only about charging and not caring about customer service.i will no longer use this company for my service needs...very disappointed in there service resource!

Thanks guys, had a late night plumbing emergency and a guy name Sam stopped by to help.
He was very nice and figured out what the problem was and got the job done in 30 minutes.
Price was fare and quality of work was excellent, no wonder they been in business for more then 50 years.
Highly recommend this company.

Our a/c went out 4 days ago we had no heat or cold air. They gave us a honest quote and did a very good job. Steve did a amazing job with letting us know how long everything would take for parts. Will use them again in the future.

We had a pipe break in our house a friend recommended that we use al Torres plumbing and heating. We were worried about time regarding this issue. They had a technician come over immediately. Great price great service. They were officiant and did the job in a timely manner. The technician said the family business has been open for over 30 years. It definitely shows not only on there detail but there knowledge which was explained to us from start to finish. Definitely will use them again.

Our water heater went out so we called Al & Robin Plumbing & Heating, they scheduled to send a technician out, they gave me a window time for the technician to arrive. They called when the technicians were on the way and they even told me the names of the technicians who were coming. These guys did an excellent job, did a great job cleaning up so we are very happy with their work and will be calling them in the future.

We had a pipe burst in the wall and called Al & Robin Torres Plumbing & Heating, they were able to send a technician out right away. They found the busted pipe and repaired it, their technicians are professional and clean. We will always call Al & Robin Torres Plumbing if and when we need their services.

My mother's a/c went out on the weekend and didn't know who to call. I called different companies, but none offered weekend services. I found Al Torres Plumbing, but was skeptical because of their reviews. I decided to give them a call and boy was I surprised.
I received a call from the technician to verify the time that he was going out there. I explained to him that my mom is elderly and that I would be the one making the decisions about the repairs for her a/c.
He showed up with in the hour and was thorough inspecting the A/C . He took his time to explain the situation to me over the phone, as I do not live close, he addressed all my concerns and even sent me pictures of the problems. He gave me different options to fix the problems and I decided to instal a new system. We scheduled the job to be started on Monday morning, and Monday morning there they were as promised.
Since I don't live close, the office would update me on how the job was going. They called me when they showed up, they called me when they would be out to lunch and when the crew left for the day. I was so impressed with the crew that showed up. They were so courteous, attentive and CLEAN!! They even brought my mom a portable A/C to use while hers was getting installed. And can you believe it, they brought in the trash cans on trash day!! I was in constant communication with George, the job foreman. He explained every step taken to instal her A/C. They finished within the time frame they gave me including patching and painting. Now we go over my moms house to beat this heat! I am very happy and thankful for George and Al Torres Plumbing and heating! Yes, they are a little pricey, but you know how the saying goes, you get what you pay for. In this case its professionalism, efficiency and not to mention a job done right!!

They work on older homes and I needed a floor furnace repaired. Sam came out on a Monday & said it needed to be rebuilt for $2100 including a new thermostat and should be done by Wednesday. Okay they are a bit expensive but I thought worth it for the quick service. However, I was scheduled for a Friday morning install between 8-9. At 10:30 I cancelled and rescheduled as they still hadn't arrived & I needed to get to work. I was told Sam was stuck in traffic - okay, understandable. Then I was told he needed to stop & get supplies - at this point I felt I was getting the runaround. A supervisor called and rescheduled for Saturday. Not Sam came out and I was pleased with the work and the workers. I was surprised a discount wasn't offered to make up for the Friday fiasco. Will I use them again? Honestly don't know.
