They are the BEST!!! We had a huge electrical job to be done on our 1946 home so we could install A/C. They were on time everyday, very personable and professional, cleaned up the site each day, and did an amazing installation on a difficult and very involved job. They passed all the inspections and had everything set up ahead for SDG&E and the A/C installers. Even came back while both companies were here to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

If you are in dire need of service, do NOT call these individuals. My wife called them on a recommendation form her boss. After making arrangements to meet at the property needing service, They refused to work on the issues the house had. The older fellow, Brian, stated that he wasn't going to touch the needs of this house. He stated that his insurance wouldn't even cover it. He stated multiple problems with the house that weren't up to code. Uh, Hello, thats why we call the electrician. He said, we won't even charge you for the house call. Why would you if you refused to work. He disappointed me in his lack of desire to work, which is what it all boiled down to. I only gave them 1 star because I had to give them some sort of rating prior to posting. They don't deserve 1 star.

We contracted with Akenson Electric after a neighbor used them for a new electrical panel and the work they did looked excellent. We had Bryan come out and put in a new 200 amp panel for us. Bryan took care of the necessary permits with the city and with SDG&E. The job went smooth and turned out great. It is so nice having a panel that is recessed into the stucco like the original panels not just screwed to the outside. I was looking at another house down the street and the electrical mast is crooked, the connectors on the box are wrong and the grounds are undersized. I have to laugh every time I see it. Do you really want to take that chance with 200 amps or more? You won't have those issues with Bryan he does quality work and also does a lot of commercial work.

They just don't get any better that this! On time, quick service, VERY friendly and just plain ol' good guys. If you have electrical issues than this is the company for you.

I called about 12pm on 3/12/14. Was given a 1pm appt time & Bryan & another worker came at 12:50pm. Checked both bathroom plugins that had not been working for several weeks after it rained. Then checked the electrical box breakers etc. They also checked both outside outlets that were on the same breaker. They found the problem immediately & repaired it. The water from the rain had gotten into the plug outside. They replaced the plug, fixed the worn area resealed it all & everything is working great!!
They cleaned up everything & even put everything on the porch back in place as they needed to get to the stairs to get to the electrical box. Very glad I was referred by Randy. I will definitely refer this company to my friends & neighbors!
