I've been using AK Electric for nearly 10 years for all of my renovation jobs and electrical needs. The owner, Al, really knows his stuff and is up on all the latest technology. He will go the extra mile to do all of his work in the least invasive manner which means less for me to repair. He is very neat and takes care to clean up any debris too.

One time when he was putting a new panel in, I was watching and could not believe how perfectly he lined each wire up. Each one was lined up to the next so you could easily see where each wire went. I'd never seen anything like it before! It looked like a work of art when it was done!

When I have a job that the customer wants can lighting, he knows the best placement for them to give the optimum light without casting shadows. This is important when lighting counter areas in kitchens where people need to see what they're doing. He always has great suggestions for lighting in difficult areas too. When it comes to under cabinet lighting, his work is flawless. He has personally tested all types and colors of strip lighting and he will even bring different kinds so you can see what they will look like in your home setting.

Al is on time and is always willing to accommodate unusual times I may need him such as when I need him for evening repairs that have to be done when a business is closed.
