I hired AK electric to Install a tesla charger and they did a phenomenal job despite the challenging framework of our house. Andrey did beutiful work and kept all the wiring through the attic. Other companies had also put in bids but they wanted to put in a ton of tubing on the outside of the house. It was also the most reasonably priced bid we received. If you're looking for quality work at a good price go with them, you will not be disappointed. Larissa also handled all the permitting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We hired AK Electric to install our Tesla charger. Although it was a straight forward project, there is a lot of paperwork to be managed - which I hate. Since we were earning a rebate from SMUD and an inspection was required, I was dreading the process. AK Electric made everything a simple as possible.

AK Electric sent a prompt, well priced quote. Unlike many others we spoke with, AK included the cost of the permit AND the rebate from SMUD. NO PAPERWORK was required on our part. I'd say this was worth paying more for, but the other companies did not charge less, they were unclear about permit costs AND wanted us to handle the rebate process with SMUD.

AK Electric was an easy choice, and they proved to follow through the entire process. They texted me on the day of my inspection with the time I could expect the Sac County inspector would arrive. I am very appreciative how little smooth this entire process was. THANK YOU!

Andrey was quick to respond and sent someone over that very day to give me an estimate and get an idea of what needed to be done for our spa connection. Then after the estimate he followed up and came out the very next day, which was a Saturday with 90 plus degree heat. He was on time, very professional and was done well before the end time he said. We used Ak Electric and Andrey for the recent installation of our hot tub and swim spa. We are extremely happy with the work Andrey did as well as how easy he is to work with. We had to have him out multiple times to discuss our project and he always thoroughly answered all of our questions. And when we needed to make a change he was very easy to work with. Andrey does excellent work. He did a long run of wiring from our electrical panel on one side of the house to the disconnects on the other side of the house and through the attics of both stories; he did this all in one long run without junction boxes, reducing the potential location of trouble in the future. On another day he had to tunnel under our walkway and it was very difficult due to the soil. Andrey would not quit and does whatever is necessary to finish the job. He made sure to make himself available on the day of our hot tub and swim spa delivery so he could be present to make the final hook-ups. His work ethic is fantastic. His work is very clean and organized. We will use him for our future projects. Highly recommend Andrey and AK Electric.

Andrey was aware I was having a delivery on Monday and offered to do the electrical work needed on Sunday. I was very happy he was willing to work on Sunday, his usual day off.

I came across AK electric via the SMUD contractor network and they were by far the BEST in pricing and communication when it came to having my level 2 EV charger installed.

I was utilizing the SMUD rebate program to cover some of the install and a i believe a lot of the other contractors were trying to incorporate that into their cost to make extra money but not AK. They were fair and honest with their pricing, they were over $500 less than 6 other quotes.

Larisa was in constant communication regarding costs permitting and appointment. Whole process was about 3 weeks mainly due to permitting but when it came to AK they got their stuff done quickly.
