If they are littering while running up 65 north today, at 5 pm, outside of Montgomery, how can you expect them to provide honest or ethical service while repairing your HVAC systems?

Nothing like littering when your company's truck/name is plastered on the side of it.

I have been getting estimates to replace our aged heat pump, and one of the quotes was from AirNow due to the good things (I thought) about Lennox products. I was offered a bottom tier Lennox 14 SEER (legal minimum) for a 4T system (current system is a 5T). The quote was $10k but with their ""discounts"", the price to me would be ~$7k. If I wanted a decent air handler it became ~$8k, variable speed A/H goes to ~$11k, and add a variable speed compressor and the price tag jumps to~ $15k....and that's with their ""discounts""!
My power bill is already low, so even with their promised 30% savings my recovery time on these prices is over 25years
One of the ""discounts"" was $1k off to have the installation immediately (the Monday, or at latest Tues, after a Fri. quote!!!). When I called the sales person to discuss pricing and equipment I was confronted with a verbal bashing of the company that has under cut them, telling me their product was inferior and how bad the other company was even though they are BOTH authorized Lennox installers.
Their technicians and repair service may be just fine, but I have not used them. However their salespeople must be on a hard quote mark-up that they must meet, judging from their sales techniques.
If the only way they can make sales is by pressuring clients into quick decisions without comparing and without being flexible when questioned, then I do not want this company in my house, and I don't recommend them for yours either.

My heater went out of course in the middle of winter and it was less than 40 degrees in Alabama! I called Air Now and they were able to respond in less than 4 hours! The technicians that came out were very friendly professional and provided great service by informing me of everything they were doing even looking over to check for other problems. I would strongly recommend that anyone in Montgomery, Alabama area consider using the service as they were very straightforward responsive professional and just kind of people you want providing services to yourself!

i had a service contract with air now. I was told at the time that because I had not been changing filters regularly enough; that my unit was suffering and would need to be serviced. that total service would be between 1700.00 and 6000.00 depending on how detailed I wanted to be I didn't do anything then. 3 months later my unit started freezing up. so I called air now. They came out and cleaned the inside coils and outside coils. the bill was 700.00. Then the technician told me the unit still didn't work because the blower motor was broken. I would need a new one . the new motor would be at least 3000.00. also that I may want to just buy a new unit for around 9-12 thousand dollars. I said I would get a sec opinion; it to send me an email with estimates. I had gotten emails before with last service. but no email came so I called back over a weeks period. No answer, meanwhile I called another company. they replaced blower motor for 500.00. I was curious why were they so high priced. I left messages, talked to receptionist. still no answer. 2 weeks later they finally sent estimate for 700.00. I guess they didn't want my money once I told the I wanted second opinion. oh and the price went down considerably once second opinion was brought up. I cancled my contract. will never use them again

Called and spoke with very friendly young lady, and set up appointment for a quote for new a/c unit to be installed. On the day of appointment, the scheduled time came and went with no phone call or text. I then called them and was told the tech was running late. A courtesy call would've been nice and all would be forgiven. I understand things happen. But, no...no call whatsoever. Lost my business and I recommend to bypass these guys all together. Don't waste your time.

This is my second experience with air now. The first was over 15 years ago. I thought that this would be different. It was. My mother purchased a unit from air now years ago and has paid a monthly fee for maintenance. Her unit is old but functional. Been keeping the house cool all summer. Well she recently passed away and I scheduled a appointment for maintenance on her home unit. The technician then promptly reported that the unit was more 5lbs low in r22 ( supposedly holds 9#) -- mind u unit is cooling which it would not be doing if truely this low.
Meanwhile tech is on speaker phone with another coworker who states ""just sell em a new unit"" which prompted the tech to fumble speaker phone off quickly. Then tell us that we should get another $10,000 unit.
Ok so I know the unit is old and will need to be replaced but it is working now and I also find the tech to not be trustworthy. I just wonder if my mom was living would she have been taken in. Btw Tech said they haven't had r22 but within in few minutes located some.
So I would suggest to stay away from these scammers.
Ps this was pretty much my last experience with air now 17 Years ago.
I give a point for nice office person and easy scheduling. I just very much left with impression of being mislead and pressured to buy a new unit.

They did absolutely no maintenance on my system, not that I wasn't paying them to do this maintenance, they just didn't do it. Almost cost me more money, but luckily, I was able to have the maintenance done by my son who was in from out of state, and he was disturbed by the filth left by these ""honest folks"". They did refund my money for my ""Service Contract "" as no service had been given, only larceny.

So I have found this company to be exceptional. I heard many opinionated reviews of AirNow. At the end of the day it comes to service and getting it done. These guys get it done where others can't and don't. The showed up at 10pm on Sunday. I ended up having a bad thermostat that I bought from another retailer and they not only took care of it on the spot with expert troubleshooting but also helped get my money back from the money I spent on my other thermostat that was just outside the return window. I love that these guys are in the area and doing what they do. Some opinions and agendas of reviews are not worth reading due to bias. Thanks AirNow!

I could not have expected any better service than I received from air now!!!
They came on a hot Sunday afternoon and worked hard to restore my
Air conditioner and all for a very fair price. The technician was so
Courteous and knowledgeable. The whole experience could not have been
Better!

They did an amazing job at putting a terminal on a wire and placing it back on. After hearing positive things about this company, we gave it a try. For $227 I would've expected a little more lube before they bent us over. Don't give this business, and I use the term loosely, any money.
