I noticed that my thermostat wouldn't turn on, tried my best at diagnosing the issue and gave up. Figured I'd resort to the pros.

Submitted a batch of quote requests on Yelp.
Not only did Airco respond timely, they were upfront about their fee (not just ""call us to schedule and we'll come take a look"" that several other companies did)

Not only that, they proposed a simple check for me to perform, which ended up resolving my issue right then and there. They even explained how that issue probably came to be.

So I ended up not needing Airco to come, but if I have a real AC issue in the future, I would definitely come back to Airco.

I previously submitted a warranty repair and the company sent someone over from A-US Air Conditioning (https://www.ausairtexas.com/). They told me the issue was due to a bad thermostat wire and that I'd have to pay out of pocket for the repair. I now understand why A-US has such terrible reviews!

I wanted a second opinion and ran across Airco Heating & Air Conditioning. I chatted with Wes, the manager via Yelp messaging and within 2 hours, Martin arrived at my door. He was friendly and listened to my issues before heading straight to the attic to start his diagnostics.

He quickly determined that the thermostat wire was working fine and was able to manually trigger the AC - it was blowing cold air again! Martin walked me through all the steps he took to come to his final conclusion. Turns out the issue was my Ecobee thermostat not sending the right signal!

The charged less than my warranty company's initial service fee. I'll report back once I replace the thermostat to confirm whether Martin's hypothesis was correct.

My first experience with Airco was quick and easy. Jon called when he was on his way and showed up on time. He was very friendly and gave me a good recap of the condition of my AC unit. He told me about the maintenance plans offered but was not pushy about getting me to sign up. I liked his approach and ended up signing up for a plan the same day.

We joined the maintenance membership in which Airco comes out twice a year to maintain our HVAC units. Martin and John went above and beyond to thoroughly clean our compressors from all the accumulated dirt. That's excellent courtesy service for something I didn't pay for.

Airco crew is always professional and courteous. I like it that they wear boot covers when they're in the house!

Beginning of AC season and a musty smell is coming from my HVAC, figured I'd get it looked at. Jeremy and Jon came out for an $89 AC tuneup. They looked everything over, shared performance test results, gave a range of options and their recommendations, and sent the test data along with some brochures for other products I was interested in. They even cleared the drain line and hosed off the AC condenser coils. Very knowledgeable, they tailored their suggestions to my needs and explained the thinking behind their opinions. I've got my new go-to AC folks!

I got a project up for a AC problem that needs professional. Airco has the lowest service fee and came to do estimate the next day, very efficient for sure, but then I was told there's a loose wire issue seems like a big project that needs 5 hrs to fix and quoted me over $900.
They came the next day since I agreed the service, I need it fixed so I didn't go with other place. They came replaced the wire around 1.5 hrs and completed. Very fast.
After the service I called other places asking to quote the wire issue as they described. Feel like I'm way over charged.

DON'T recommend based on their prices but recommend for their fast and responsive and get it done really quick I learned the hard way next time will get some more quotes even having to throw away more service fees.
