I called this company because it's the peak of the summer and my regular AC guy couldn't to me on the day my AC stop cooling. It was a mistake and a complete waste of money.
The tech came out and spent a half hour checking everything but the problem, which was the fan motor. When he was done, he was more interested in trying to sell me a new system than fixing my AC. Actually he didn't/couldn't repair my AC.
In addition, he made me sit and wait 20 minutes while he sat in his truck putting together the quote. I gave up waiting and approached his truck. He got out, gave me a crazy high quote, couldn't tell me when the work could be done, and insisted on trying to get me to buy a membership after I told him I wasn't interested.
So, I paid $130 for nothing.
My AC guy came the next morning. He said any respectable company would have this standard part on their truck. It took him less than 30 minutes to do the repair. If I had the part I think I could have replaced the motor myself. Online searches for the motor indicated I could have bought it for about $300. Air Tech wanted to charge me $830. That's more than $500 for labor that should take less than an hour.
It's almost a week later, and I still don't have the promised estimate of how long it would take Air Tech to get the part and fix my AC. Good thing I didn't wait for them. I guess when I wasn't interested in the salesman's pitch to replace my whole system I wasn't worth their time.
I wish I didn't call them. You shouldn't. Save your money and call a AC repair company instead of this AC sales company.
The estimate was grossly inflated, the time to complete the work was grossly inflated. They did the initial install of my brand new home, and I, in mistaken loyalty, thought they would be the best to evaluate and fix the issues. Service charge is twice other competitors and beware of what they say labor time will be! Never again!
Cynthia R.I've used them since I moved into my condo 2 years ago and never had any issues until the last time they serviced my unit about a month ago. The service tech dropped a can of glue on my leather ottoman and two bath rugs ruining all of them. I was very understanding and the tech assured me that they would make it right. I called and spoke to Jacob who assured me that they would replace the items. He even thanked me for being so understanding. Once I purchased the replacements I called him and he said to just send him a screenshot my purchase and he would have a check issued and have the tech bring it to me. Well a week passed no check. I texted and he then said it was mailed. Still no check. I texted him yesterday and of course no reply. The sad thing is that I bought the cheapest items as to not have them pay a lot of money. With tax I spent about $100. The ottoman was genuine leather that came with a matching chair that was a housewarming gift when I moved in. I have a service contract that I will now be disputing with my cc company.
My Air Conditioner at home went out over the weekend. The home warranty I have wasn't helpful with assisting Saturday. I called Air Tech of Houston and spoke to Ashley and told her my delima. I told her even though her company doesn't do contract work I can speak to someone to get an Authorization to have them come if she could assure me service over the weekend. She assured me they would be available to come Sat or Sun if needed. After finally getting authorization & agreeing to paying for this service Upfront and allowing the warranty company to reimburse me, I talked back to Ashley (who was compassionate) she told me at 2:15pm someone would be at my home 6p-8p. Not only did they Not SHOW UP....Ashley text me at 8p & said ""can we put up up in a Hotel tonight"" when I asked to speak Verbally about Details of how that would work, She Stopped texting, wouldn't answer the phone anymore and my Family & I were Displaced. We did get a Hotel, but Air Tech didn't pay nor did they Attempt to reach out to Service me for the FOLLOWING DAY! Who Does That??? Completely IGNORE the customers that that made an appt with No Call No Show. That's Unprofessional at best

We were having trouble with one of our A/C units cooling properly. Unfortunately, I just tested positive for COVID-19 4 days earlier and the rising inside temperature was making resting difficult. I informed Air Tech of the circumstances and they still sent over a technician on the same day as my call to address the problem from outside the home. Zack spent several hours troubleshooting and then cleaning our two exterior A/C units. He called while on the way, again upon arrival, and then called me one final time at the conclusion of work to inform me of the work done.
Thanks for helping us out with quick turnaround in our time of need - you are appreciated!!! Resting and sleeping these next days in isolation will be much more comfortable. Great job Air Tech.
David B.We received a flyer to have an AC inspection. We decided to give them a try. 2 guys came out on Thursday May 28th. Both were polite & professional. After they completed their inspection, they gave us an estimate of $6k to repair all the items they said needed repair or replacement. 1 major was the drain was stopped up and the overflow pan, was rusted, and also needs replacing. Had (3) New install options as well, all @ O interest. Our system is 19 yrs old. Still works well. Will go out in time. My wife and I told them we would discuss and get back with them. Friday we went out to get groceries. Upon return, 4/5 pm, (we come in through garage) there was water on the carpet and leaks from the ceiling.) went into attic, the pan had been leaking. Coincidence , the day after they leave,the pan leaks and does several $$ of damage. I cannot say they intentionally did anything. They had showed me pics of the pan, so I know they were ""in the area"" their office called me to follow up, I explained my discovery, she said would have someone from Mgmt call me. Crickets since. Doubtful I will ""Ever"" use or recommend this company. I don't believe in these types of coincidences. We thought we had looked up this company before, reviews were good, we actually were looking at a different company. Our mistake for not being more thorough. These are just my opinions and beliefs.

Dan O.Our original experience was an emergency and we had a wonderful experience. However, we were convinced to buy the maintenance plan which was fine because I believe in taking care of our A/c before and after the summer. During both maintenance visits this last year, the tech tried to up sell me on so much BS that we didn't need. This last visit the tech even tried to sell me a new unit and quoted $13,000!! BTW- A new unit for our house is at most $3,000. Do NOT trust these scam artists. Shame on you for trying to take advantage of your customers. You have lost our business for life.
A/C started to ""freeze up"". After several recommendations from neighbors and checking BBB ratings I chose Air Tech of Houston to look at my unit. They arrived on time ,sent pictures of tech's assigned to the job. Told me what problem was .. gave me several options and pricing for each .. due to Covid 19 mask and gloves and ""booties"" we're worn when interacting with us .. work was done in a professional manner.. thank you Alex ( Alejandro) and Michael and your team.
Terrible service. Bought new system. Told me it had 2 year warranty. Had service about 15 times in 9 months. Now wont honor warranty for poor workmanship. Asked for months to have managet call claims that it was never requested.
Went with them based on good ratings. My mistake. Never use them. Have feeling that high feedback rating is fake.
