Avoid this place unless you enjoy throwing your money away. Let's start with price gouging. First quoted $27k. Then paid for the lesser option to just ""keep it going"" which was $2k and it lasted one day. Thankfully we found a more honest and reputable company (at a fraction of the cost and repaired within hours). But trying to get our money back for unnecessary parts and warranty from this company has been a real hassle. For 3 days we've been trying to reach a manager to get this resolved but the response is always ""they just stepped"" or ""they're not here"" or ""we'll have him call you back"". No phone calls. They can't explain why they are charging over $300 for warranty on parts that cost $100. Highly highly don't recommend. Just to name names: our tech was David Rostran, the representative's name we spoke with over the phone is Karina (who apparently never sees her manager), the manager who never calls back is named Ethan.

Tech did not want to clean inside of outdoor unit by taking top off and washing down inside. My 77 yr old husband did it while tech held top open. When he left unit set to run to 72 reading 80 and said it would take 2 hours to drop 2 degrees. He left at 5:45. Monitoring the unit. ??Still don't know if the unit will shut off once desired temp reached. That was the reason we called as unit did not want to shut off when temp reached.

They charge way too much. Wanted $1600 to change a blower motor out, I bought it on Amazon and did it myself for $280.
My thermostat went out, I bought a new one, and they charged $750 to change it out, and I had the thermostat. I would have sent them on their way again, but I needed AC bad.

They are simply sales people that will sell you anything to make money. Please save yourself the time and hassle and hire an honest and reliable company that actually cares.

Had Air Tech come out on Christmas Day. They now offer plumbing services!! We had a pipe bust in our attic, thankfully I got the water off quickly!! Daniel was a service man. He was on time, polite, and efficient! I greatly appreciate this guy being away from his family on Xmas day to help my family. Thank you Daniel & Air Tech!

Had to have our water heater replaced. The service man came out and gave an estimate. Replaced it the same day. We've used Air Tech for years to service our AC. So convenient.

I had the same problems as everyone else, they are basically salesmen and talk you into replacing your unit instead of repairing. I fell for this at my home, but made mistake of letting them work on another house. They did a half baked job and it cost me more in long run as I had to replace more components later. After the warranty is up, I'm going to use another company.

AC went out, fan stopped spinning. called several companies, air tech came out first. Wanted 1900 to fix the fan motor and said it might not work. And they told us the unit was old and tried to sell us a new unit for 28K. told us if we bought the new unit, they would install the next day. If we wanted the fan motor fixed, it would take several days. WHAT???? something about having a delay with a distributor opening their shop. you can get a whole new unit the next day, but not a fan motor?!!!
Diamond air came the next morning. replaced the fan motor for $350. and offered us a replacement unit, same SEER and model for 9.5K
Thanx Diamond!!!!

My A/C is old and requires R-22!! If anyone knows about R-22, it's expensive now $$$$$. They won't make it anymore come 2024 or 2025. I needed a new condenser and coil! Joey and Adam were excellent about appointment time and had an amazing work crew to get her done! Air Tech of Houston showed up and showed out. They are very professional and knowledgeable in their field and have great personality to boot! I didn't have to ask hardly any questions. I knew what to expect and had no surprises. Very honest and concise. Thank you!

5 years ago, I spent nearly $20,000 on 2 A/C units and 2 furnaces. The old furnaces looked and worked OK, but Air Tech insisted they needed replacing.
Then I find out they installed April Aire filter guides. It costs $500 every 6 months to replace filters. Or a $1000/year.
Honeywell filters meeting the same specs cost 40-50% less than the April Aire filters. But they are slightly smaller. So a small amount of air can bypass them. On the box, both the April Aire and Honeywell filters claim to be 24 X 20.
I called a different A/C company to do the annual A/C servicing and filter replacement. It will cost me about $250. Or half as much as Air Tech. Only problem is for the Honeywell filters to work properly, new guides will need to be installed. Another $1000 for the 2 guides. But over a year or two, they'll pay for themselves.
Why weren't the Honeywell guides installed by Air Tech in the first place?
Note: The installation of the A/C and furnace units was well done. But based on their other shenanigans, I'm beginning to doubt that the furnaces needed replacing.
A guy on Google indicated that his repair by Air Tech cost him about ""$1200/hour"" -- $300 for a 15 minute job. Sounds like good work if you can get it.
See how easy it is to lose a loyal customer Air Tech?
