Bobby W. has been such a pleasure working with us. He has great manners, listens to your concerns and needs, he's very professional. He goes above and beyond to get you approved for financial assistance and will go over all of the options with you. He's very informative about the quality of the products and packages that they're offering. Will definitely be doing business with this company again. As soon as our generac generator is hooked up I will update with pictures to show the final product.

Avoid this company at all costs.
Our church's unit malfunctioned, so we called them for repairs. They sent Joe S., who diagnosed that the fuse and contactor needed replacing. He initially quoted us just over $400, but by the time he returned, the price had increased to nearly $600 without any explanation. When we mentioned the original quote, he implied we were lying. We ultimately paid $502.90 for the repairs, but shortly after he left, the system failed again.
We called them back, and Joe S. returned, diagnosing the problem as electrical, then the breaker, and finally, a faulty board. He couldn't fix it unless we paid again, which we refused, feeling it was a misdiagnosed issue from the start. I requested to speak with the manager or owner and was promised a callback, which we never received.
We then called another technician, who found that the previous technician had cut all the wires, making it impossible to diagnose the problem without reconnecting them first. It was clear Joe S. was incompetent and the company was trying to exploit us. I wouldn't do business with them or recommend them to anyone. Their claim of ""worry-free service"" is a complete lie.

It's awful that I have to do this, it stay away from AIR SOUTH COOLING/HEATING. They have put a defective ac/heat unit IN my house In BASSFIELD MS. Here is just a few pictures of all the of what has become of project. And they literally sent 8 techs out and they have no clue as to why they are there.

I had an awful smell coming from my air conditioning and knew I needed to get it cleaned. Air South had good customer service and sent someone out quickly. I was given a quote and then a week later someone showed up to fix it. The good news is the smell is fixed but I will not use Air South again.
The person that came out to give me a quote clearly put a ""I assume this person is wealthy"" charge on it and if I wasn't paying attention I would have spent $700 needlessly. He told me it took 2 people to remove the air conditioning coil, he said that the pipe that removes the carbon monoxide didn't work at all. When the person came out to fix it, thank goodness he was an honorable person and told me he didn't need another person and the pipe was fine.
Thankfully I work from home and was able to ask about those extra charges on the quote and got them removed before paying.
I don't appreciate someone coming out and trying to basically scam me into paying and extra $700 because he made an assumption about my income because of the neighborhood I live in.
Question each line item on the quote, ask the person who fixes it the same questions don't trust what they are telling you.

Wish I would of looked at Better Business Bureau (BBB) before hiring AirSouth. MANY reported complaints. Horrible workmanship. Highly suggest that you double check EVERYTHING they do because they do very POOR work. They'll hangout in your attic and not do half the expected work and leave trash everywhere. They'll also push your bill to the finance company before you approve the amount. DON'T HIRE!!

I had some AC issues, found AirSouth on google. I had a great experience and highly recommend they for your AC needs. I decided to take out their maintenance plan, this allows me to have them come out twice a year to preform preventative maintenance on my unit.

Seriously--they are. In every respect.
For many years, our household has relied on one of, if not the biggest name in Jackson, to service our heating/air conditioning needs. That relationship was laid to rest with one call placed to AirSouth back in early May. Since we were unhappy with the company we'd used for years, my husband spoke with several HVAC wholesalers in the area, and they all said the same thing, ""That if it was their house, they would call AirSouth out of Mendenhall."" So, we did, heeding their high recommendations. In fact, my husband was so impressed with their sales representative's knowledge (Brian), he contracted them that day. Initially, their technicians, Chris and Elliot, installed our new unit and reworked our ducts for maximum airflow (something the other Jackson contractor acted as if we didn't need). In the twenty years we have lived in our house, we've never had the air flow that we do now. And even better, reworking the ducts the way they did has saved us over $100 each month on our electric bill. Then, roughly two months later, we purchased a Nest thermostat that one of their technicians, Johnathon, installed for us as a courtesy, at no charge. While he was there, we talked about adding a purification system and having our ductwork cleaned, the latter of which we had never done. Two weeks later, two of their technicians, Ben and Joel were back at our house, putting it in and vacuuming our ducts, getting them nice and clean. They even took pictures to show us the before and after. And I'm happy to say that my sinus issues have been greatly reduced as a direct result.
Hands down, AirSouth is one of the most professional large-scale contractors my husband and I have ever used. Every technician was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working, had a sense of pride about their job, were respectful to their surroundings, and took great pains to clean up after themselves. Not only did they arrive on time, all three times they were scheduled, but they sent us several courtesy texts, one of which included a picture of the technician that would be doing the work. Not only did I find it a friendly touch, but I liked the safety aspect of it just as much.
In closing, five stars doesn't seem enough for the service they provide or the expertise they exemplify. If anything, they deserve all the stars in the sky.

AirSouth is a top notch company. From the first request for a quote to post-installation maintenance checkups, I have felt like a customer and a member of their family as opposed to just another revenue stream. All of the technicians and salespeople (James, Dane, Jonathan, Ben, and Allen, to name a few) have smiles on their faces, and they always ask if we have any questions, and typically give a high 5 or such to our kids. Christy was our contact in the office for finalizing the deal and setting up payment, and she's been fantastic answering questions in that regard.
While this team might not be the cheapest on the block, they offer more intangibles than others. Some things cannot be taught, and this company prides itself on developing relationships that matter with their customers, something which they do quite well!

They are a great company to do business with and I would recommend them to everyone! Mr. Sinclair has always done right by me.
