My mother-in law has been without hot water for over two weeks and now we are contacting a lawyer to file a lawsuit for product malfunction and breach of contract.

Rep comes to the home, schedules service for Wed. Jan. 15. No follows up.

Jan. 15, 2025:
AirSouth employee named Blayne comes to the house, says he can't do the job and she had to got another 2 days without lights.

Jan. 17, 2025:
AirSouth Employee Mario comes and installs new Breakers but Hot water Heater is damaged. At this point my brother-in-law had to miss 3 days of work due to no electricity. 1 day which he planned to be off, but also 2 additional days of no pay due to Airsouth employee Blayne unable to perform the job on the original work day of Jan. 15, 2025. My Mother- in law was forced to throw away a large amount of food that had gone bad due to no electricity.

Jan. 18-23, 2025:
Daily text messages from AirSouth claiming someone is coming to provide service that day but no one ever came.

Jan. 23, 2025:
AirSouth Employee Gavin came to and said he is a plumber and service requires an electrician.

Jan. 24, 2025:
AirSouth Employee Wesley comes to the home and stated that the installation of new breakers burnt up wiring to water heater and there's nothing he can do. Provides name of Manager to ask for and says person coming the next day is certified electrician & plumber. She has been without hot water in freezing temps since Jan. 11. Still no follow up from original employee.

Jan. 26, 2025:
AirSouth Employee Gary came to my the home with another employee. They told her the damage to her water heater was not their responsibility, even though it was working properly prior to them installing the new breakers. To add insult.to.i jury they asked her to sign a paper saying she was satisfied with the work, which she declined to sign.
When she called the office to ask to speak to a manager, the receptionist repeatedly asked why she needed to speak with a manger and declined to provide any information.

Avoid this company at all cost, they drive in from Mendenhall and take advantage the elderly. Strong hold them , slick talk them and convince them into signing contracts without reading them unethical and disgusting.

Called and scheduled service. In the morning we received a text that we were on schedule and would be between 8-12. Just got a call that they aren't coming. DO NOT GET STUCK WAITING ON THIS GROUP!

BEWARE: Company did not perform negative air pressure cleaning on our ducts. Paid to have coils cleaned. Coils were not removed as promised and dirt was blown into home. I became very very sick. Also paid for ultraviolet light to be installed. When unit not working properly, hired another company found light not hooked up and freon overfilled. Salesman of Air South will sell products company cannot perform. BEWARE!

Bobby W. has been such a pleasure working with us. He has great manners, listens to your concerns and needs, he's very professional. He goes above and beyond to get you approved for financial assistance and will go over all of the options with you. He's very informative about the quality of the products and packages that they're offering. Will definitely be doing business with this company again. As soon as our generac generator is hooked up I will update with pictures to show the final product.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Our church's unit malfunctioned, so we called them for repairs. They sent Joe S., who diagnosed that the fuse and contactor needed replacing. He initially quoted us just over $400, but by the time he returned, the price had increased to nearly $600 without any explanation. When we mentioned the original quote, he implied we were lying. We ultimately paid $502.90 for the repairs, but shortly after he left, the system failed again.

We called them back, and Joe S. returned, diagnosing the problem as electrical, then the breaker, and finally, a faulty board. He couldn't fix it unless we paid again, which we refused, feeling it was a misdiagnosed issue from the start. I requested to speak with the manager or owner and was promised a callback, which we never received.

We then called another technician, who found that the previous technician had cut all the wires, making it impossible to diagnose the problem without reconnecting them first. It was clear Joe S. was incompetent and the company was trying to exploit us. I wouldn't do business with them or recommend them to anyone. Their claim of ""worry-free service"" is a complete lie.

It's awful that I have to do this, it stay away from AIR SOUTH COOLING/HEATING. They have put a defective ac/heat unit IN my house In BASSFIELD MS. Here is just a few pictures of all the of what has become of project. And they literally sent 8 techs out and they have no clue as to why they are there.

I had an awful smell coming from my air conditioning and knew I needed to get it cleaned. Air South had good customer service and sent someone out quickly. I was given a quote and then a week later someone showed up to fix it. The good news is the smell is fixed but I will not use Air South again.

The person that came out to give me a quote clearly put a ""I assume this person is wealthy"" charge on it and if I wasn't paying attention I would have spent $700 needlessly. He told me it took 2 people to remove the air conditioning coil, he said that the pipe that removes the carbon monoxide didn't work at all. When the person came out to fix it, thank goodness he was an honorable person and told me he didn't need another person and the pipe was fine.

Thankfully I work from home and was able to ask about those extra charges on the quote and got them removed before paying.

I don't appreciate someone coming out and trying to basically scam me into paying and extra $700 because he made an assumption about my income because of the neighborhood I live in.

Question each line item on the quote, ask the person who fixes it the same questions don't trust what they are telling you.

Wish I would of looked at Better Business Bureau (BBB) before hiring AirSouth. MANY reported complaints. Horrible workmanship. Highly suggest that you double check EVERYTHING they do because they do very POOR work. They'll hangout in your attic and not do half the expected work and leave trash everywhere. They'll also push your bill to the finance company before you approve the amount. DON'T HIRE!!
