After moving to Anna Maria Island from Toronto, Trudy and Stewart Moon Sr. bought a very small air conditioning company, which at the time only had 5 employees.
As newcomers to the field, the Moons absorbed knowledge and, over time, developed a company they take great pride in.
Now a days, their son, Stewart Jr. (who grew up alongside the business) has stepped up to the plate, caring for the company that he saw his parents put their whole hearts into.
Stewart Jr. and Trudy are in the office every day, working together as a great duo with their amazing team of individuals—which has now grown to about 50!

We had a great experience with Air and Energy for the installation of a tankless hot water heater. They were on time and the work was done expertly The crew were very polite!

been a customer for years-always prompt and courteous techs-would give 5 stars but some techs more thorough than others-our last tech was awesome cleaning all removable filters and replacing paper throw away for nominal cost of 15-service was free due toy maintenance contract-a bargain at 179 for two service maintenance-tom this is our vacation home and visit a few times yearly but run a/c 24/7

I have been an A&E customer since 1990. On April 21, 2017 I had guests arriving from Wisconsin. I noticed the low battery signal flashing on the thermostat. It was a Sunday night
at 6PM. The tech who responded emptied the battery compartment, he then said he had to check the unit. He then spent almost two hours examining the compressor and repeating: ""I
can't get it to pull a vacuum."" As the end of a two hour period approached I told him I needed
an update, he said, my diagnostic tools were wrong, nothing is wrong with the compressor, I can charge it with Freon and be out of here in 5 minutes. At that point he handed me a bill for $635.58. The next day I contacted, Mrs. Moon the owner, she said she would review the matter and get back to me. Five months have passed, and I have not heard from Mrs. Moon. I will never use this company again, this was the most dishonest service call I have experienced in my twenty seven years as a property owner on Anna Maria Island.

In Oct 2016 I had our first Service/Main with Air&Energy. I have heard from others they are great, but the Service Guy never said anything besides you will need a new air conditioner down the road. I just had our second service for the year and something in Air Conditioner needs to be cleaned. So I wonder why the first guy never said anything. I just referred the neighbors who bought a brand new unit from you all. All I can say is this, you all are lacking Great Customer Service in answering your phones for appointments and Servicing units!
Becoming very disappointed!
Just left another crappy Air Conditioner place in Bradenton and thought you all were better!

Had another issue with AC. Compressor isn't working. They came out and replaced capacitor, $168 for part. I see the same part at Grainger for $18, online stores have it for $10. They are friendly service but way way overpriced. I will not have them back. Oh yeah, this is with the VIP deal which is a rip off too.

I came home from work on a Friday and memorial weekend, only to find I had no power. I called a few companies and got no response, even after leaving messages. I called Air and Energy and a polite young man named Hunter, called me back within 20 mins of me calling the after hours line. He came out that evening and had to come back the next day to fix the power pedestal issue. He was professional, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. The customer service this company supplies is far Superior to other companies i have dealt with. Whenever I call the office for any of my Electrical, Plumbing or A/C needs, Air and Energy always provides me with the most professional, reliable service that I have come to expect and appreciate!!!! They normally provide me with a 2 hour time window in which I can expect them to come out. They have always adhered to that time frame.

Pick ANY other company! Do NOT use Air and Energy. Why? Read on...
Having new floors installed. Installer discovers water damage directly under my Air and Energy installed (8 mos. ago) air handler. The damage is extensive! I call air and energy for a service call to check out if the condensate drain is leaking. Told the service dispatcher that the floor was open and accessible. Was told the tech would call so that I could meet him there! No call...but the dispatcher called and told me the tech went and inspected the unit...reported it was ""dry as a bone"" ""tech said gee there's no floor!"" ""I'm sorry he neglected to call you"". Told my building contractor what Air and Energy told me. Next day he called me to the site, held his hand under the unit and pulled it back soaking wet.
I called Air and Energy back at 1pm. No one in the office could handle the problem until so and so comes back from lunch. Two and a half hours and three more phone calls later I finally got through to someone who assured me someone a tech would be there shortly. (I have 4 people at my house waiting to put the floor back down after which you can't get to it!)
You guessed it NO ONE SHOWED. Another call to them at 5:30pm resulted in them telling me someone would be there tomorrow between 9 and 10.
CHERRY ON THE CAKE?
I'm a VIP Customer who shelled out to be a VIP customer.

They do not tell you what the service will cost. The technician actually left my house after doing the service and did not leave an invoice. What a shock it got when it came in the mail!

I'm a ""VIP"" member which gets you 2x annual A/C maintenance plus discounts - a great deal!
I've had thorough & responsive service from A&E for electric, A/C and plumbing issues, happy with all 3.

poor communication, job took several visits to complete, several missed appts,poor communication from office. will NEVER use or recommend again
