This company is horrible. They installed the new Air conditioning system incorrectly. Three years later because installing unit in attic impropertly the piping would hit the steps when closed and cause pipe to move and cause back-up. The flow started backing up and finally broke loose and vomit came pouring out of pipes all over the garage.

When I called Air America to come and fix their own mistake they wanted to charge us to try and fix the problem. They messed up their installation for us in the beginning and now they want to charge us to fix it.

I just wanted to Thank Dominick, Frank & the Team at Air America for a Great Experience from Start to Finish. There are not many companies where you can speak to The Owner, The Owner Assistant, The Top Tech/Installer and have them all working together for you. I had done my homework on the unit I wanted and had several quotes. I discussed my budget and presented them with what the competition was willing to do. Graciously, Confidently & Patiently they went over each of my offers. Once I understood, They told me what I could expect from Air America ""A Complete and Compliant Company that would be there for me long after the sale"" and at the same time how I could actually Upgrade and Save Money. It was a No Brainer. That My Friends, Is What It's All About. Great Job !!

I know everyone complains about AC repair prices. I understand people have to make a living, but Air America is the worst. Charge you $70 to come out and then overcharge you for the parts in labor. I paid the service charge and told the repairman the price was ridiculous. I called someone else saving me $100! $125 part and 20 min of work should never cost $385.

Had a service contract for years through this company. They were usually alright. I Took the afternoon off from work today for them to come between one and five. I called at 2:30 to see if they were still coming and said I was home and they said yes I was next. I received a voicemail at three saying the tech was on their way. Call back at 4:30 to see where he was and they said he wasn't coming because we never called back to say we got their voicemail. Their response was basically ""too bad for you"" and were very unfriendly. I have one maintenance visit left then will go elsewhere.

I had my AC ""Fixed"" on Thursday July 26, 2018... On Sunday July 29, less that 3 days, failed again, call them and they said that an emergency repair visit was they can offer, and that I need to pay $150 upon arrival, before even say good afternoon... What?? An AC repair that after 3 days doesn't work can not be supported by this company???
The temperature inside the house is 80+ degrees, and I have 2 kids, the Customer Service Agent, that has no idea of service, and as I been reading also very rude, game just 2 options, pay or wait until tomorrow???
On a very basic math is cheaper going to a hotel for a night with my family than to pay this people $150, for a technician that can not guarantee a service for more than 2 days.
I think the safest thing to do is to change companies and prevent others to have the same situation.

Spent over $5000.00 on new system w/ uv light and service contract.

When i bought the system i asked about filters and mold because my daughter has allergy's. it was recommended that i go with a uv light and then i would not need to worry about replacing filters only washing them. After the very first service call they called the next day to recommended new filters. (Again the ones that came with the system are washable filters designed to work with uv light.) So i asked the rep why do i need new filters the one that came with it is supposed to be what i need. I told her that I'm uncomfortably with nature of the call because i felt like either i was lied to at point of sale. Or just trying to up-sell now. The rep became aggressive and told me that i was DISGUSTING and being rude and that the call was being recorded for quality. when i asked for her supervisor she said she would leave a msg for them to call. With further persistence i was able to speak with someone who claims to be a supervisor. but when she answered the phone she just said hello and sounded like she had just woke up. i had to ask for her name. after telling her what had taken place she put me on hold for like 5 maybe 10 sec then came back and tried to tell me those filters where temporary filters.... Its clear to me that they do this all the time just to make extra money. And to a small degree I'm ok with it After all LET THE BUYER BEWARE but how many senior citizens have they done this to.

Horrible horrible customer service! I spent all day waiting for a technician to come for a maintenance call and he never showed. I called to inquire and the girl who answered was rude and not at all helpful and blew me off. I've been a customer for 11 years and certainly expect some courteous assistance if I call with an issue. Will be looking for a new service provider. Step up your game Dom!

We needed our rental homes A/C fixed as the tenant was having a B'day party. We called on a Friday, they came out the next day, advised what replacement unit was best and returned Monday w/new unit and several techs to install. They replaced old wood with a stainless shelf for the inside handler closet and kept the place clean even as the tenant stayed home to observe. We received a check- in call that day from the office, a follow up email with the invoice (as quoted) and a final call the following day.
They saved the party, the house is cool and we're 100% satisfied!
