don't call this company call them to set up appointment to come out an take a look at my ac they never showed up or called

The fan on my central a/c unit stopped moving last week so I called Air America, for $69.95, to diagnose the problem. I was given 2 options: replace Fan Blade, Motor & Capacitor for $1177.00 with a 1 year warranty OR replace the whole thing for $7022.06 LOL The President of my HOA said ""that sounds like BS!"" so he called a friend (former FDNY) who replaced the capacitor for me at a cost of $4.95 and 2 bottles of water. In other words, STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!! RIP OFF ARTISTS

The biggest biggest ripoff!! They came out charged $69.95 for trying to sell me (the cheapest unit) for $7,500.00. Called another company called A G Services 561-792-5539. I didn't need a new unit and the part and labor came to $495.00. He's a very honest man! I recommend him highly. As for Air America, I hope Air America Air Conditioners company, these gouges go out of business. In times like this we don't need companies ripping people off!!! I rate them 100 below!!

If we could, we would give a minus star review! Our air conditioner was not cooling properly. We called Air America to come repair our unit! They came and found a problem with our compressor wire and a part on our unit inside. Due to the fact our unit is 8 years old, we asked if it was smart to do the repair or get a complete new system, the technician said if we do the repair, we should get a year and possibly more with doing It. So we took his advice and did the repair for 628.00 dollars. Eight days later our system was out again, they came back out and said that are air compressor cage top, where the air blows out, fell into the motor and damaged it beyond repair, due to severe rust and now we need a complete system $5,000.00, they will credit us $500.00 off the new system if we buy the new system from them !!!!! Their technican should have noticed the severe rust (it was so rusted that it broke 8 days later) of the top of the compressor. Due to his incompetence we now have a huge expense we cannot afford!!!!!!!! Do not I repeat do not use this company!!!!!!

(PLEASE REFER TO THE VIDEO I POSTED) These employees of air america ac has been swerving in and out of traffic. They got mad because I honked the horn to warn them before they hit me. So they were blocking the traffic trying to block me in. This is the type of people that this company hired to go to peoples home to fix their AC and representing their logo on the street? How UNPROFESSIONAL and UNSAFE for the people on the road? If this is their demeanor in a vehicle, imagine the work they'll do to your AC. I personally would never hire people like that to come to my home. Just my two cents.

Had the air-conditioning put in and the only thing I do not like is the thermostat because I can't see it and I don't know what I'm doing when I get home I don't know if I'm turning on the heat or the air and it is very upsetting to me that we spent all this money on an air conditioner when the thermostat is not readable and I am going crazy. My husband said leave it alone as the company said that if we change the thermostat the item would not be warranted. I hope someone from this company will call me and maybe we can figure it out because if I can't read the thermostat whether it's on or off or heat or cool what good is this for me. Done reviewing it working

I was sold an air conditioner 3 years ago by this company and it breaks down every 4-6 months. Several of the repairs have been significant- new coil, thermostat, leaking refrigerant twice, but most of the service visits were to unclog the drain which constantly backs up and shuts off the unit. The worst part is that I paid for the quarterly maintenance! So even though I have the drain cleaned every 3 months, it still is not enough. Yesterday it stopped working again and I just had the drain cleaned last week. I spoke to the manager and he says it's normal for a drain to clog even a day after the drain is cleaned. Are you kidding me? Then why do I pay for the maintenance? I have have never had so many problems with any air conditioner before and Air America refuses to even admit there's a problem. Either it's a bad unit or they aren't very good at maintaining it, but either way I do not recommend Air America. I use Lindstrom for my other properties and they are so much better.

So reluctantly we were going to pay to have them fix the section of ductwork that was damaged when our fan was fixed on 8/22. The techs come out to do the replacement get up in the attic and about 20 minutes later tell my husband the ENTIRE attic Needs to be redone.. wtf if that's the case why didn't the last 2 visits from the repair men say so. The whole company is just a ploy to make more money or a sale... they left not fixing our ductwork (fine by me I don't want to give them another dime!) we called the company that installed our AC upper lower and duct work 5 years ago to fix their mistake... I will do a fantastic review of the company that fixed us at long last. Would have saved us time and money.

It was a pleasure working with Brad and the Air America team. Brad was very responsive in getting multiple price quotes of the different A/C options. Most important, he got the installation team to come the next day even though we finalized the contract at 6PM. I will recommend them specially if you are thinking of installing a Carrier A/C.

Many contractors have bad reputations but he had a very professional attitude and mannerisms my bill and experience with him was absolutely fabulous
