Came twice within one month . Called. 30 minutes later he came. Fixed problem with new house I bought.. where he had done electrical. Let me know what he was told to do. Sellers paid for it.

I called again. He came immediately over. Was down the street! Put in new outlets. Dimmer. Fixed my circuit box.

Fast. Answers phone personally on second ring. Honest. Keeps good records!

I recommend him personally! I never heard of him before in my life.

This was the absolute worst experience I have had. We are building a brand new house and obviously need electricity. Our horrifying experience with Aina's Electric started from the get go! First off, as we were doing the initial walk-thru to determine where all the lights and switches were going to go, we asked Aina for a quote for everything. We had no idea how much each switch or sconce was going to be. He said he would write a quote up for us and send it to us. Ok. Perfect! Except....he did all of the work BEFORE giving us the quote! Then he emailed us the balance! He went over our allotted ""allowance""! Over $3000!

Now we have to choose fixtures. Ok. We begin looking for fixtures. In the mean time, the house is being built and everything is moving along beautifully. There's ZERO communication with Aina in the meantime so we think nothing. We have all the new fixtures to be installed up at the house waiting to be installed at least one month prior.

Now it's time to install! He installed everything about one week before final inspection. No problem, right?! Well, now I'm getting phone calls and texts saying the fixtures are the wrong size, they're not waterproof, etc. Ugh! They were sitting at the house for over one month! I took a lot of time and thought into choosing fixtures and ordering them. Now I needed to run into Lowes and get fixtures that I didn't like.

He also put light sconces in the bathroom...in the wrong spot. He did not even ask how big the mirror was, or where it was going. He just drilled two holes in he wall and put them up! Now they need to be moved. Ok. No problem! But he charged us for moving it! Like $260!

Overall, the experience was terrible!! After it was all and done, it ran us over about $5000 of unexpected charges. Things that we did NOT agree upon before the work was done. I would not recommend this company at all!!!! No communication, unreasonable, and dishonest.

This is the third time I have hired Aina's Electric. The first time was last winter when I wanted a light fixture removed and a chandelier hung like a swag over my dining room table. I received a prompt estimate, the electrician showed up on time, and he professionally installed my chandelier. A week or so later, I hired Aina's Electric again to replace a ceiling fan in our den. There were a few problems with the existing junction box, but they had all the tools and supplies to correct the previous install.

Then today, they came back again, 8 months later, to replace a ceiling fan in my master. I could no longer tolerate the tick tick tick at 3 AM. We bought a larger fan with a longer down rod, and a wall control switch. The installer was here a bit longer than usual because he had to level the fan and make it stop wobbling, but it is now perfect. Absolutely perfect. I could not be happier with the service, promptness and professionalism, including the prices. You know what they say about contractors, that then can do 3 things well, pick any two. Well, Aina's Electric truly does it all.

I should also disclose I am not an easy person to please.

Aina and his team are the simply best for sure! I had just bought a condo and had several electrical issues that a bad home inspection totally missed. They added a dedicated outlet for the dishwasher, fixed bathroom GFCIs, added retrofit kit plus light kit for the lanai ceiling fan, plus grounded a few outlets. Fortunately, Aina and his guys were super quick and came to the rescue the day I arrived off the plane. Awesome service!

I contacted Aina for a bid on installing a 240volt Plug for my new Tesla EV after getting an outrageous bid from another big company in Kona. Aina Electric price was much better and service was Excellent! I highly recommend letting Aina Electric compete for your business!

Had and 'emergency' in my garage, circuit died - no juice for my outdoor freezer. Checked everything my little brain could think of - no soap... Called 'Aina' and he made me aware of the tiny fact that we likely had a GFI in the garage (NO i didn't realize that) and to check it FIRST! If that wasn't the fix, call back.. It WAS the fix.. Likely saved me $100+! AND some embarrassment! I will recommend him just for that... THANKS 'Ania'

Aina and his team are simply the best! Aina is respectful and very professional. I was able to talk to him right away about what we needed at our house and we made an appointment which he kept - right on time! His team just left and boy...did they ever work hard and fast! They installed 13 new lights both inside and outside, four brand new outlets where there had never been outlets, and then upgraded two outlets to include USB charging stations as well as rewired a confusing set of switches controlling two lights and two fans. I have them coming back to install outside motion-detecting lights and look forward to more of the same.

Please treat the team (Chris and Dan did the work, but Aina brought the team over) with the respect they deserve - no matter what I through at them, they were able to come up with creative solutions which are legal and aesthetically pleasing to the eye! I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors should I be asked who is the best electrician on the leeward side!
