Got me the part, took my money ($45 service call, $162.08 quoted as my part of the service NOT proved by Total Home Warranty--but I found the same Whirlpool factory manufactured ice maker online for under $70 with shipping). April 24, 2018 he came with ice maker but recommended NOT installing as the old ice maker had started working again and seem to be frozen in place.... rather than risk breaking anything he ""recommended waiting until the old unit failed and then he would come out and install new part. It took almost 2 months before the old unit failed...when I called him back he said since it was more than 30 days and new authorization from Total Home was needed--he said he would check with them. He did not call back so I checked with Total Home to see if the $200 had been authorized. It took several calls to Total Home but I was then given the claim # and authorization code BUT when I called Affordable Home they said they had sent me an email that they NO LONGER do service for Total Home. I have NO record of an email and TOTAL HOME says they were NOT notified by Affordable Home that they are NO LONGER providing service. COMMUNICATION AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL RULE! I did NOT seem to get either from AFFORDABLE HOME!

We called our home warranty company after business hours last night when we discovered that our built-in oven wasn't heating. Not even 10 minutes later Rob from Affordable Home Services called to confirm our next day appointment. Rob and his co-worker showed up on time and had our problem resolved within minutes. Additionally, Rob spent a while sharing some helpful advice, tips and suggestions regarding the care and maintenance of our other appliances. Could not have been nicer or more professional.

Worst appliance repair company ever. They were contracted by Old Republic to fix my Maytag washing machine. The tech came out, started the machine and proceeded to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it (the fact that it stated mid cycle and ended with the final spin with adding more water wasn't normal). When I questioned him, he stated that he would have to call Maytag. When I hadn't heard from him in a week, I called and left messages. He wouldn't return my phone calls and when I finally did speak to him, said he would call that afternoon...and didn't. Two weeks went by, and I still didn't have a machine that was working. I tried to contact them, no answer, called Old Republic, they reached him...and he told the rep there was nothing wrong with my washer. They took this company off the case, are reporting him to contractor services (because of his nasty demeanor on the phone), and have reassigned the job to another repair company. I'll never use them again.

I called Affordable Home Services after hours and was able to connect with someone who came out within the hour. My entire kitchen floor was flooding from the over freezing of the ice maker. My tech was able to target shoot the problem. He was very informative and returned several days later to complete the repairs. I recommend them for quick response and being very professional.

Robert came to my rescue for an ice maker that was on the blink. He would have been able to see me the same day but I was not available. He was honest with his assessment, willing to try a work around to see if we would have some success before investing $400 in an 11 year old refrigerator and low and behold, I know have ICE. We was super friendly and I'll definitely recommend him and use him if needed in the future.

I don't know if this service person, Robert, is still with your company. We had an issue with our dishwasher and it took many many return visits to try and fix it. (Service repair began on 2/16/15) He was extremely attentive at the onset however, this issue became bigger than a bread box and it became where we were throwing good $$ after bad. He tried to do his best but the issue should have been properly diagnosed at the onset. Our dishwasher door had been sprung and the lst issue of fixing our 2 door hinges did not work. ($551.59) He said he needed to pull out the unit to do more work and to do that he needed to take off part of our cabinet front and then rebuild the cabinet ($1100.00 + reset our sink and reseal $295 + taxes = $1502.00. Total project $2053.00), BTW...the sink reset worked great...the reseal work was sloppy and the color did not match what we requested. I paid to have a separate contractor to redo the color seal. After that was resolved, the dishwasher would sporadically run. Robert returned many many times & was unsuccessful and ended up replacing the front door of the unit. They left the old door at my front door and I needed to ask them to return to remove...they did after a week. The unit still would not work and he ordered a new control board. (New door should have fixed this issue, no??) He installed the new control board and the unit would still not run and he tried to obtain codes direct from GE. He left me a phone msg basically saying he was done done done (he became very frustrated) and I needed to contact GE. Said he lost alot of $$ on this issue (said purchased new door and control board. My question, if new why wouldn't they work??) We ended up contacting GE certified repair man (should have done this at the onset!) who said he could fix however, it may be best to just purchase a new dishwasher. WHICH WE DID for $1000.00 (Bosch) and it was delivered and installed and works perfectly. We still have the old dishwasher with new door and parts in our garage we need to trash. I gave this a rating of 2 stars (should be a zero) as Robert really did try his best to fix the issue but it took many months, phone calls, and texts and revisits to our home....it really cost us alot of time and money and it should not have.

He was always on time and I have recommended him to several homeowner friends of mine. I had an issue with my fridge in my man cave Hammerhead the Mayweather Pacquiao fight at my house I Eden Estates I called and they were there within 2 hours they fixed it in the matter of 2 hours still Works in mint condition till this day I'll definitely call for any other repairs
