When was the last time a business coming to your home (cable company, gas company, etc.) actually showed up on time???? Affordable Electric came on time literally to the minute and got right to work on adding two digital timers at my home. They were efficient, cleaned up at the completion of adding the timers and had very reasonable rates. Will definitely recommend them to others.

This was the third time I called Affordable Electric. In the past Red had come to do some work for me. Today J.R. , Red's son, came. He installed separate controls in the house to the outside patio light, patio cover lights, and patio fans. He also changed two outdoor wall light fixtures. I was so impressed by his professionalism and efficiency. J.R. And Red are such experts! I highly recommend them both for any electrical work you may have.

Hired them for adding electrical and ceiling fans in bedrooms, outlet in kitchen island, and added another outlet into the island. They did a great job. Arrived on time and finished earlier than expected. They covered up their work areas to keep our house clean of dirt and dust. So far I am very pleased with the work.

Red was the name of my tech and he provided above and beyond service. He was on time and finished the work early. I've researched price estimates for upgrading an electrical outlet to 240v and he was the most reasonable. His quality of work was outstanding.

If I could give a negative 1000 I would. How do you argue with your customer, blame customer then walk away with 80% of lights not working, says you dig hole and I'll fix it, returns and says hole is not deep enough and won't dig until he gets paid again. Paid for work, cashed check and wants more money for the unfinished work, unbelievable.

I called several electricians in hopes of having surround sound installed. JR was straight forward regarding his availability and realistic in letting me know what to expect in terms of cost. I called Affordable Electric to inspect the electric panel at my parent's house, as a few breakers seemed to be damaged due to an electrical short from a power strip in the house. Red came out, replaced the three broken breakers (original ones from 1947), and replaced a faulty wall outlet, as well. The price for replacing 3 breakers and an outlet was very fair, and he even offered my father a senior discount. We were very pleased with the work, service, and Red's honesty. My father, who is elderly, had been taken advantage of before by Powell Electric, who tried to charge over $440 for ONE breaker replacement. It was nice to know there are still honest, good electricians out there, in spite of big companies like Powell giving the trade a bad name.
