Gerard Coveno grew up in the vicinity of Boston, Massachusetts. Upon finishing high school, he achieved his dream of joining the United States Marine Corps, where he honorably served to his country.

Following his discharge, he started a structured 4-year apprenticeship under Master Electricians, attending evening classes.

Not long after completing his apprenticeship, Gerard discovered his enjoyment for the South during his time in the Marine Corps and opted to make South Carolina his new home. He now lives in Charleston, SC, with his wife, Lisa.
