No, if this is Richard Root, don't use him. He stole money and never did the work, then ducked all attempts through courts to get back money. He still owes me money. He was referred by a friend and left that relationship damaged, too. Lovely.

Horrible Service and always late on the job. The guy Rick was rude, and his team is absolutely uncouth and filthy. Charged a lot of money and the work product was shabby. Will never recommend these guys to anyone.

Wow! A truly awful experience.

I found Rick on Redbeacon and set an appointment on Sat morning to install a ceiling fan. Saturday comes and goes and despite many calls to Rick I never heard anything.

It ruined my Saturday morning having to stick around the house waiting for no-one to show and I could have left it at that.

Afterward Rick called and emailed me explaining why he didn't show and couldn't call. A justifiable explanation and I'm always willing to give someone a second chance.

We set an appointment for a few weeks later, Saturday morning... and... here we are again. Hours late, no response to my phone calls, no response to my emails. Rick could be the world's greatest electrician for all I know, but if he never shows to appointments, it doesn't do anyone any good
