If you are looking for electricians who know their trade, who do the highest quality of work, who can work with PG&E and permitting entities, and can troubleshoot problems and come up with solutions within your budget (no matter how small or how large your budget is), call Advanced Electrical. Valary and his team including Dave (who installed the level 2 charger for my EV), Alex (who put a new panel into the garage and wired it according to the specs needed for my new dryer), and Chris (who with Alex removed the old halogen recessed lighting in my cathedral-ceilinged kitchen and bathroom and updated with with new recessed fixtures and LEDs) are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, courteous, on-time people and the work is of the highest quality. . .Prior to the smaller jobs noted above (which took place in September 2021) Valary oversaw from January through April 2021 a complete electrical renovation of the rest of the house--which I had just purchased--replacing all of the old wiring, outlets, and electrical panel ensuring that everything met code requirements, and installing mudded-in recess art lighting and wall washers in the living room. I enjoyed working with Advanced Electrical and I enjoy living in a space that is safe, beautifully-lit, and functional.

I first worked with Valery when I had my kitchen remodeled. My contractor, who I loved, works with him so I knew I could trust him. Valery replaced my circuit breaker box outside and did a great job. At some point after that someone tapped into the box and attached an outlet so they could use my electricity! I called Valery and he came over and fixed it right away along with another outlet that wasn't working. He is great!

Started out well enough. Made an appointment, but they had to reschedule last minute. Owner himself came over the next day and gave an honest assessment of the job, saying that we're better of doing time and materials instead of set quote, as it would save us money. Struck us as honest enough and wanted to book him.

He promised to text us to set an appointment, but that's where the review fell off. After at least two calls, texts, and emails each, they were totally non-responsive. Turned out to be wasted time.

Had a few things in my 100 year old house that didn't work - four outlets, a ceiling light, and a wall sconce. Contacted AE and set up an appointment and Branden showed up on time and ready to work. After diagnosing the problems he made everything work! After years of darkness we had light! Branden was professional, diligent, and friendly and the cost was more than reasonable. We were very happy with Valary Gore's and his team. We had a few odd electrical jobs to get done in our newly purchased old house in Berkeley. Valary met with me to review our scope: Change out a few outlets to GFCI, update a dryer outlet, troubleshoot an exterior light fixture that was waterlogged, and add power outlets in our basement to existing switches. I wasn't sure if our project was too small for him, but he never made me feel that way. He was up front about a time-and-materials fee when I asked and this makes sense to me, especially on old houses. Andrew, his journeyman, did the work and asked very good questions ahead of time. He even went to Home Depot and bought us new cover plates and an exterior flood light to install that day. They did all the work in about 3 hrs. I think they did a great job and their price was right for professional electrical work. Safe and professional electrical work is key!

Advanced Electrical once again did an outstanding job for us. We were stranded without power to half our house, and could not get any electrician to answer their phones. Everyone said they were busy for weeks to months. The owner of Advanced Electrical gave us a call back at the end of the day and said he had an hour the next morning to come troubleshoot our problem. True to his word, he did just that. He took a look at our situation and determined that PGE needed to be called to service their main, and he made the call for us.
