Contacted to have a 14-50 outlet installed for my upcoming Tesla. He came over to give a free estimate within one hour which was: $400. Along the same lines as I have heard. Explained the process, what was needed, and did the job immediately. Total time: 1hr and change. Friendly and conversational. No loss of power during the install. I asked him about moving the plug, adding a second line, and multiple other things. He was happy to give me more information. Without a doubt will be using for all my subsequent electrical work. Very happy.

Well, I needed an electrician for fix a complicated issues, Eddy was recommended through Next Door. I am so pleased with his services. Called Eddy at midnight in a panic. The wired smoke detector was going off and nothing I did would solve the problem (alarm located just outside the kids' bedrooms where they were sleeping). I removed the battery -- it still beeped. I pulled the unit from the ceiling -- still beeped. I threw the freaking thing in the garage... beeping was coming from the ceiling. (WHY do smoke detectors only indicate low battery in the middle of the night!!!). Eddy was willing to jump out of bed a couple towns away to help me, but we first did some trouble shooting. Turns out, the flooring people that are working on our house this week unplugged the CO2 detector (apparently it beeps after a few hours of being unplugged) and left it in a place that gave the impression the sound was coming from the smoke detector -- tall ceilings, above a winding stairwell with acoustics any musician would love or hate. (okay, it was midnight, so I wasn't completely awake). What I really appreciate about Eddy is the empathy he expressed as he called me back 20 minutes later to be sure everything was okay. Thanks Eddy! You are one of the good ones!

Engaged Eddy to correct and complete a botched & sloppy job done by a contractor called The House Next Door. My experience with the contractor was not a good one. Eddy came in scoped the job and agreed to do it, we picked a date and time to get started. He arrived at the agreed time, set to work and completed the job on time to my satisfaction.

The things I admired about Eddy was the professionalism and willingness not to cut corners. Understanding that I was not an electrician he was patient and took the time to explain what he was doing and why to me. I respect that. I would use Eddy and have since used him on other jobs.
