Our home's back lights went out a year or so ago and we've been unable to safely use our back patio since. I finally got around to calling Advanced Electric and they came out first thing the next morning and quickly problem solved and found a loose wire under the house. Electricians were professional and highly skilled. I'm just wishing I'd called months ago.

Called to request a quote about replacing a ballast. Was told that price was $150.00 an hour if no troubleshooting was involved and they had the ballast/materials to do the job. I said I would go get the ballast so it would be available. Then I asked what is the typical time to replace a ballast with no complications. The lady said that every job is different and she could not tell me. I then said you guys have been in business a long time. Therefore, I think you should be able to tell me what is typical. She said did you call to argue, if so there are plenty of other businesses you can call and hung up on me. WOW!!! I can go on the internet to see videos on how to replace a ballast to determine how long it takes. Therefore, I think my question my question was a fair question for the work I wanted performed. Maybe she was having a bad day. However, I didn't deserve that treatment, and I would not recommend this business to anyone. Hopefully, the technicians have better attitudes.

Had good communication with Brice, the owner. I had his guys install a 240v outlet for electric car charging in my garage. They were on time and did a good, quick job. Price was good too.

This will be my 18th review in 10 years. I only write reviews when service is terribly poor...or astronomically wonderful.

I needed the entire house to be on my new generator so that during the storms I could still have power.
The owner of Advanced came out to give me a quote for the work and within 3 days the work was completed.

A few things stood out to me:
* The owner took his time to explain what needed to be done. I had many questions, and he answered them all.
* The quote was sent same-day, which is a biggie for me. I tire of business who send quotes one week later.
* The company called the day before the appointment to let me know that they were still coming.
* The owner called on the morning of the appointment to let me know that the crew was on the way.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 stars -- well deserved.

Called for service. They could not come out for two days . Was told last night they would be here this morning I make time out of my schedule to make sure I am available and then no show. I call to find out what is going on I am told my service is not going to happen until this evening with no reason other than something more important came up which tells me my business is not important no call and they lady on the phone really didn't seem concerned. I canceled my new appointment they made without checking with me. What a joke.

I simply go off Yelp reviews for work I need done on my home as I'm new to the area. Advanced Electric was another company that overdelivered and was a great choice for me. They were prompt, trustworthy and had competitive prices. The electricians that came were so quick and explained everything before they completed any work. I will definitely be using them again and recommending to anyone needing a spectacular electrician!

Answered all my questions before I scheduled them to come. Carlos was the electrician and he was super friendly and knowledgable. At one point, he sent pix to his boss for advice on how to handle a situation. He worked fast and came in under budget! Highly recommend. I would call them again for any electrical needs.

Installed: Two garage flush mounted lights and relocated a switch and garage opener.

Very professional, organized and pleasurable experience. The quote was inline with others and once I committed, they had me booked in less than a week. The workers were efficient, quickly resolved problems and did great work. Overall, I would definitely ask them to do work in the future (possibly two more garage lights). Thank you.

Advance Electric of N. Florida is a top notch electrical company that performs electrical services for residential and commercial buildings in Jacksonville. We are a small licensed general contracting firm, originally from Miami and we spent the last two years developing an upscale concrete block home and unattached garage on the St. John's River. Originally we hired another company to pull the permit and complete the job. Unfortunately the owner disappeared in the middle of the project.
We scrambled to locate another company that would be willing to undertake the previous contractor's work and pull a new permit. Brice of Advance Electric came out and gave us an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He sent out Paul, the company's top technician. Paul attacked each part of the job with success, effortlessly. Not only that, he was very polite, efficient and cleaned up after himself. The company did what they would say they would do, supplied the materials and now everything works as it should. We were very happy with our experience with Advance Electric of N. FL. and we can say without reservation that they are one of the best companies that we have ever worked with.
