The owner knows what he is doing, but 2 out of 3 times, we got his employee, who needs to call his boss to ask what to do. One time, we had a dimmable light that flickers *even when we turn it off*. The only thing the employee would offer was to replace it with a non-dimming switch. I'm not even sure if he understood that there was something wrong with a light that is (partly) on when you turn it off!

Other times, they solved our problems. Once, the price was good; and the other time, we needed 10' of wire and they charged us for whole spools. Did they throw away the rest?

Edit: Yes, you did tell me the prices beforehand. Nothing dishonest.

We were very happy with Advance Electrical Service! We needed help with changing an electrical panel. They were prompt with responding, not the cheapest quote but MUCH cheaper than Roto Rooter (a $7000 difference!). They were on time and carried out the work quickly. Will def use again in the future. If you need an electrician, call AES. Robert and his crew were just great. Responsive, efficient, reliable and excellent work. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I didn't actually end up using the service for installing a doorbell, but Robert was super quick to respond to both phone call and Yelp ""quote request"".

He took the time to talk to me and to review video, was super patient genuinely made me feel like he cared about customers.

I would definitely reach out to Robert again.

They were great! George showed up on time. The quote was very fair. He was friendly and very efficient! He had the parts to fix and install my lamp in addition to a new switch which I didn't know I needed. He was able to fix the issue that day in the time quoted. He took the time to read the instructions of the lamp I had already purchased and told me exactly what I needed to have done!

Alex was fantastic. He was very responsive to my yelp enquiry and came to my home at an exact time in the morning so I did not have to wait for a 2 hour time window. He got straight down to business and while the job was more complicated than expected and required all kinds of rewiring and attic climbing, he fixed it all! He also came back later that evening, after an extremely long day for him, and fixed my porch lights (another more complicated than it looked fix) which was an extra ask on my behalf. I will call on Alex in a heartbeat. His prices are super reasonable and he goes above and beyond to get the job done.
