Removed a box progress energy installed because pinch a penny said they wouldn't touch my Pool Pump with it on. Young Man arrived with a collared shirt, showed me the function of the box and let me watch him intently while he was removing it and rewiring it.
He answered all my questions thoroughly and I realized the pool company was diverting the blame for a repair that they needed to do. The young man wouldn't give me his number for side work and told me if I needed any electrical work to call Advance. His integrity provoked me to write a review.

I have the wired plan through Duke Energy and while I'm not a Duke Energy fan, I like the plan. Advance Electric is the contractor they use. Any interaction I have had with their electricians has been a pleasant experience but today Peter came over. The problem was fixed promptly and he was professional, well mannered and had a great attitude.

Jimmy came to the house and was amazing! He was very thorough. He fixed the problem then asked if there was anything else. I told him of a failed repair and he looked at it. He fixed that and described what I missed and how I could have done better.

John, the electrician from Advance Electric, came to my home a few days ago to perform some electrical work. He was very polite and professional. He is a very experienced electrician and performed the work within the time frame previously discussed. I am very pleased with the work he did.

After dealing with a difficult kitchen renovation, I wanted to speak with someone that has experience in what they are doing and was punctual, professional, and got the job done correctly the first time. When I called to make my appointment the kind girl stated that she was not sure if they could get someone out to me today. I said if today is possible that would be great as I did not want to miss anytime from my work. She said she would schedule me in between 12-3. Steve showed up at 12 pm, right on time and the first thing he did was take off his shoes upon entering my house. He did the job and was very professional and friendly. This experience was a sigh of relief considering everything else that is going on. I truly appreciate a company that has established some longevity and has it's own employees and is based right here in Clermont. Thank you Steve and Advance Electric.

Well my landlord had this guy come over to repair a few things so it was ""done right""

Well for ""done right"" there was alot of ""can't do that"" in the end.

What this guy couldn't do, I went to Home Depot got the needed electrical box and wired it myself. Not impressed.

I saw the bill as well... it was several hundred dollars. I think this guy purposely ""tries,"" tinkers to gain time and then comes the ""can't fix that"" line.


There must be more experienced electricians in town, I don't recommend this company...
