Had an breaker issue, would not reset after numerous tries. Found ADJ (Allan, the owner) on Yelp and saw he had some great reviews, so I called. I am not surprised at why ADJ gets very good reviews...our experience with him was great..!! He showed up, did some troubleshooting and found our breaker was bad. After changing the breaker, one outlet still would not work that fed off that breaker, opened it up and found some serious shorting burns. Allan, unfortunately had to open up a portion of the wall around the outlet to properly fix the issue (our home was built in 1966, we have the original wiring). After fixing the issue, he also has a co-worker who does an amazing job at patching up. Luis (ADJ's patch person) did a great job patching up the wall and ensuring the texturing matched the rest of the wall. Overall a great experience at a very reasonable price..!! They will be my ""go to"" team, if I ever have any future electrical issues. Highly recommend if you are in need of an electrician..!!

Open beams are beautiful, but finding fun, modern light fixtures for them can be a daunting task. Swags and plug-ins always have to be converted and ceiling fans never really provide the kind of bright light that we wanted. After a month of estimates from far and wide to have a fixture hardwired we finally decided to go with Allan of ADJ Electric. We're glad we did. Allan was fantastic and his workmate Luis was excellent. I can be, what's the word? Not picky, but exacting. I like perfection. I expect it. I crave it. Allan met the challenge. For every hoop I offered up - no matter the height or depth - he jumped through it. To the side, overhead, on the ground, rotating - every question, every concern, answered and alleviated. We love our new fixture. Where there once was darkness, now there is light...and a handy dandy switch. When you live in an older home it is the simple upgrades that you appreciate. Allan understands that. He was fair, reasonable and a pleasure to have in our home.

Things started out well with ADJ but took a serious turn for the worse as we continued to work with his company. First he installed some GFIs for us at a reasonable cost and no problems except he arrived over an hour late for the job. Then we requested quotes for the installation of two light fixtures and repair of an non-functioning outlet. The quotes seemed reasonable so we contracted for the work be done for the agreed upon price. For this work he brought an ""assistant"" who actually installed the 2 fixtures, and again, no problems there. ADJ spent the day working on the outlet but still wasn't able to fix it. Since it was clearly taking him a lot of time, I asked if the quote for the outlet repair would change at all, and I was satisfied when he said there would be no increase in the cost. He came a third time with a colleague and together they were finally able to fix the outlet. About an hour after they left, half of the outlets in our house blew out. ADJ came the next day to look at it and said the blowout was related to the circuit in our garage. He installed a new circuit and said the blowout wasn't related to any of the work he had just done. We found this to be a very odd coincidence to say the least. He promptly charged us in excess of $600 above the agreed upon price for the repair of the bathroom outlet and subsequent blowout. While my husband and I took time to discuss the charges and what we felt was fair, ADJ called me daily about the bill, and in less than a week from completion of the work, demanded payment in an extremely curt text. We reached a compromise on the cost but it was still $300 over what we originally agreed to pay. By this time we lacked any confidence in him and had another electrician come out to look at another issue with our porch lighting. This electrician examined the work in the garage and said it was completely unnecessary. We will not be working with ADJ electric again.

Allan and his team were outstanding. They came to our home and fixed 3 outlets, along with explaining the reasons for the faults and and installed a new circuit breaker. Allan is very service oriented and provided us with a reasonable price.
