I have used ADI Electric three times. The first time, I actually bought a Group-on from them for 2 hours of service for the price of 1. I needed to have an attic fan reconnected which had had its power cord severed. I didn't know anything about ADI but I thought it was a good deal. I spoke to Cindy on the phone to set the appointment up and she was a pleasure. Henry and Luis came out to do the job. They were so courteous and professional, I told them they would be my electricians going forward.

The second time they came out, it was to reposition an electrical outlet from above a bathroom sink to underneath the sink. Again, very professional and great service.

Finally, this last time, I had a decent sized job for the ADI guys. I wanted to replace the light fixture in the middle of the master bedroom w/a ceiling fan and install four 6"" recessed lights. Ariel came out to give me the quote. I had gotten a coupon off their website but after talking to him about it, I really wanted LED lights as opposed to the standard lights in the deal and he agreed it would look much nicer so he gave me a great quote including installing the ceiling fan which was still in the box! Again Henry and Luis came out and again, the professionalism they displayed is rare. But not only that, the work is TOP NOTCH. I seldom have a contractor come out and do work for me that I don't have to do my own ""cleaning up"" after they've gone. In this job, it was absolutely perfect. Didn't have to do a thing - just hit the switch for the lights and click the button for the ceiling fan.

I hired ADI to upgrade my electrical panel, put in a new outlet in a closet and wire in 3 smoke detectors as well as 2 fans in the attic to assist in the summer heat.

They showed up per our agreement with enough workers to complete the job quickly. This included send in out someone to repair the stucco and drywall.

I hired them again when a fan with a light would not turn on. The remote was the problem. He took off the remote and everything started working again.

I will use them again for any electrical needs.

We love ADI! They recently redid ALL the electrical wiring in our house and it was a huge project. They were professional, friendly and kept things clean. They cover everything and make sure to put it back when they move furniture. Marvin and Ariel are a pleasure to work with! They even came back to the house multiple times to install new light fixtures we bought after the project at no additional cost. They are wonderful!!

Signed up for an Amazon Local deal several weeks back and yesterday Miguel and Alvaro came by to switch out 3 light switches with timers and replace 2 old security lights with new ones. They did an awesome job! They were scheduled to be here for an hour, but they finished in 45 minutes. They strictly deal with electrical, so understand ahead of time that clean up is on you. I will definitely use ADI again when the need arises.

We had a terrible experience with this company. We bought a coupon for their service through Angie's List based on their high reviews. ADI booked our appointment one month out because they were so swamped from the Angie's List offer. The day before our appointment, ADI called to move it a couple of hours later. The next day no one showed up during our appointment window. We didn't get a call until that evening, and we were told they were running behind but could come that night if we wanted. We declined and rescheduled the appointment for after the holidays. We had an appointment today, and yet again, no one showed up. We didn't get a call until after the window had passed. They offered to come tonight, but we decided we didn't want to be involved with a company that is this flaky. Unfortunately, ADI told us they can't issue a refund and sent us to Angie's List.

If your job requires doing something that you have no question that a handy man can do and you have a groupon, use them. Otherwise, no. They want to charge $225 an hour? No way. I went through the trouble of taking the faceplates off of my switches and photographing wiring coming out of the wall, provided links to exact switches I needed replaced and gave a detailed numbered description of what the job was. I did all of this plus spoke directly to the electrician to prevent any problems in advance. I was informed that no equipment or wires would be supplied by the electricians so I didn't want to waste my time or my groupon=money! The people who came wanted to do as little for me as possible. My neutral wires in BOTH of my switches were too short and so my switches couldn't be installed. They thought that one of my switches COULD be installed so they installed it WITHOUT ever testing whether or not it worked (bc like I said, they want to get in and then out as soon as possible no matter that I had purchased two hours for nothing). They had to return to put my old porch light switch back in because it didn't work! If they had not returned, they would have given me a total of 40 minutes (2 guys at 20 minutes each) of my 2 hours. They were not even going to put my faceplate back on! I had to make them do anything that needed to be done. To me, highly experienced seasoned electricians and problem solvers might be worth $225 an hour but this company felt no sense of responsibility to me for wasting my time and pissing me off with a lazy approach. I had them replace my washroom fixture that I can do myself and tighten a connection on something just so I didn't blow my top for spending money for no reason. They said they could run a new white neutral wire to each fan at $300 per fan and that that was a discount! When I asked how long it would take...2 HOURS! No thanks. The company doesn't care about anything but money. I would have given two stars but leaving my house AGAIN without putting my faceplate back on my switch means you really are fresh out of school.

It's going to take some patience waiting for an appointment if you need an estimate. Sometimes I read reviews and these businesses get bad ratings for making people wait. They are busy and they don't subcontract- that means their people do your work. That means quality. That also means, we have to wait for them to do another job before they can get to us!

So, I scheduled my estimate and due to my work limitations, it took over a week. Ariel accommodated me and came on over. We discussed my projects and ideas and he confirmed my plan and added his advice based on experience. He sent me his on-site quote from his ipad and away we went. I had other quotes- from great people- but his were by far the best. I also chose Ariel and ADI because of his customer service, experience and credentials. Another company offering a ""deal"" came for an estimate and I was turned off by the lack of professionalism. Yet another wasn't able to assure my floors were to be protected. ADI met the expectations.

Ariel scheduled me on a weekend which totally helped because of my work schedule. Someone calls the day before to confirm. They came RIGHT ON TIME even though they had a window. They built scaffolding under the supervision of Sam and the 2 workers were awesome. Professional, non-intrusive and did a nice job. This was a BIG job and was not cheap so I wanted the right people and the work looks amazing. Very classy.

I will have them do my bedroom lighting in the near future. Thanks ADI!!

ADI installed an attic fan in my home in Aug 2014. Smooth transaction.
They did an electrical inspection for me on another property in Oct. 2014 but I did not receive a timely report on their findings.
Overall, they are professional and do a good job.

I used ADI to fix an electrical plug in my garage, to repair my chandelier in the dining room and rewire a lamp on the wall of my bedroom . They were on time, very quick and quite thorough and cleaned up afterwards. They even tested all my wall plugs for me and did all this in under an hour. The price was excellent.
I am making an appointment to have them back for some additional work that I have discovered that I need.
I HIGHLY recommend them. They are also very nice and Cindy in their office is helpful and does a great job scheduling for them

Alvaro and Miguel from ADI Electrical arrived on time and installed a chandelier, a ceiling fixture, and replaced a dimmer switch for us. They were courteous, worked quickly and carefully, and did an expert job. We had very specific requirements for the length of the chandelier chain, and they accomplished that perfectly. We were very pleased with the quality of their work, and we would recommend ADi to anyone requiring electrical services.
