I can't say enough about Adary Electric. I've had them at the house on three different occasions and I have them coming out again for a fourth time. They are an amazing company with very knowledgeable and professional people. They are honest in not only their price(s) but also how they treat you. I can honestly recommend them for any electrical issue/project and look forward to working with them in the future.

The Good: Service with Victor
Victor came on ""estimate"" day to get an idea of what needed to be done to install a video doorbell camera and floodlight for the backdoor. I ended up not needing setup for the doorbell, so only the camera with floodlight was setup. He did the job well in about 1.5 hrs, which is what I expected.

The Bad: Customer Service and Scheduling
I originally messaged the business to get a quote and estimate for how much the job would cost. My misunderstanding that when they come to give an estimate, they actually charge by the hour instead of it being a 5-10 min visit like other companies. I obliged to pay Victor for the visit, but was not expecting to.

Scheduling for the actual job was a fiasco. I was looking to schedule a late morning appt, but could not be promised a time frame as they seem to schedule jobs after each other rather than by time. I chose to do an 8 am for a more guaranteed time per Marcie.

Come day of appt (Tue, Sep 6 as noted in the screenshot), I hadn't heard from Victor by 8:15 so I sent a message and called at 8:30. I'm guessing Nadav answered, but he said that my appt was for Wed, Sep 7. Instead of apologizing for the scheduling error, he said that they get a lot of inquiries on Yelp so they get mixed up and they prefer to call for established customers. They never notified me of that.

Ok so now it's Wed at 8 am (also in screenshot) and Victor still has not shown up by 8:35 am. I called and said that if he did not show up by 8:45, then I would have to cancel the appt. Victor got here at 8:44. So much for a guaranteed time.

I paid Nadav Adary almost $8,000 and paid all my invoices on time. After the job, he completely stopped taking our questions, calls, emails, never getting back to us whatsoever!!!

Why would you do that to a good paying customer? WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR WARRANTY? BEFORE WE HIRED NADAV, HE STATED HE WARRANTIES ALL HIS WORK. This is a complete lie! You can't just take a customer's money and never follow up on simple questions, concerns, and issues.

STAY AWAY! Nadav is nowhere to be found after you pay him. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Great experience with this company. What differentiated this company from most I have worked with in the past is their willingness and ability to CLEARLY communicate over email down to the last hour, which is HUGE for me and probably most typical residential customers who may find it difficult to get on calls and deal with missed calls/voicemails. I really appreciated that aspect. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience with Adary. They replaced an aging chandelier and recessed lights with LED recessed lights. It started off well with a quick response to my ask for a quote. They actually answered questions in Yelp messages, vs just asking for a call. (Calling during business hours can be challenging for me.)

They provided some options wrt buying our own fixtures vs a reasonable surcharge for selecting and purchasing them a part of the work. Scheduling a time was straight forward.

Then I forgot they were coming ?. Luckily my wife was still available, and the electrician handled it well, patiently waiting to get let in . He called me a couple times to confirm the work and price.

When I came home everything looked perfect. Well matched fixtures, ceiling was clean, and the new lights were bright and wonderful. I'll definitely be calling again for future work.

Deven did a great job, working through a number of different requests quickly and diligently: kitchen light fixture extension and installation, ceiling fan, bathroom fan/heater, and fixing various outlets. Pricing was good too, so I'm a very happy customer.

Had a great experience working with Adary Electric. I reached out to Adary Electric back in February to have a service call to check out a few things that need replacing. They came out and told me what needs to be fixed and what types of material they would need. Life got busy and we completely forgot to follow up until just recently in June. Between February and June, Adary never tried to force a follow-up which I truly appreciated. They gave us the time and trusted that we would eventually reach back out when we're ready. Today Victor from Adary came out and took care of everything that we had on our list, replacing electrical outlets that stopped working, putting in new light fixtures, and troubleshooting why the globe lights in our lounge area suddenly stopped working. Victor was super professional and talked through the various options we had. He even suggested ways to repurpose various switches and fixtures we previously had for other spaces. He also wore a mask the entire time he was here. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Adary Electric. I would definitely reach back out if I have any other needs.

Best value in the Bay! I was quoted $120/hr and the electrician, Devin, was efficient. It'd have been better had it been disclosed that driving time would be included in the number of hours, I wish the default were to wear booties (instead of having to ask), and I've been finding many wire sheathes from the stripped wire and other detritus from the job. But it ended up being $100 lower than others so overall I'm satisfied.
