First American assigned acme to fix my kitchen outlets. They fixed them while at the same time screwing up the circuit so my upstairs bathroom lights won't turn on. They refuse to fix it unless I pay another service fee. I will NOT pay them to fix a problem they caused!

Rude, nasty, and that's the ""Owners Wife"",do not use...
I contacted Acme on behalf of my Client living in Colorado to have several GFCi's switched out. Because I am a Realtor I very often meet Repair Technicians at homes for servicing, I ask them to give me a call 1/2 hour before they will arrive to allow for a timely meeting, and they have ALWAYS accommodated me. Acme, however, work on a four hour window of service... now a days with both parents both working in most households how can Acme expect someone to be sitting there waiting for 4 hours. Unless you're a Stay at Home Mom or Retired, this is literally impossible.
So, when scheduling the appointment I asked the dispatcher to give me a one hour heads up call/text so I would be there in plenty of time to let them in, my office is 45 minutes away from my Clients home. I gave them my phone number and asked for them NOT to contact the Owner, but me since I'm in town. Last Friday I waited from 1:00 to 4:45 PM when they finally text the OWNER, not me, saying they would arrive in 15 minutes. My Owner then forwarded me the text. I called Acme and said since it's rush hour on a Friday, there was no way I'd be there in 15 minutes...I rescheduled for today, Wednesday from 12 -4. Today at 2:45 I call Acme to check on the service call. The dispatcher says the Tech be there by 4:30, to which I say my appointment was from 12 -4 and I was to receive a call/text one hour before. She checks with the technician and tells me he'll be there at 4:00. While I'm driving there, I get a call at 3:30 saying he's there. I tell her I'm driving and didn't we JUST HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT MY BEING THERE AT 4? Evidently she's not the dispatcher that I spoke to earlier, cause she starts reading me the riot act that my appt was from 12 - 4, etc. I say that's besides the point, that I had left a key hidden and please ask him to go ahead, the home is vacant, I'll be there shortly. She says, the Tech will call me...he does not, and as I arrive at 3:40, he's driving away! I call the office and talk with a gal who identifies herself as the ""Owners Wife"". She can tell I'm annoyed and proceeds to tell me that she's not gonna allow me to berate her and they ONLY allow appts for a 4 hour window, that they have had bad experience with Realtors, they never show up, etc, etc. She's nasty and very loud... I tell her to let me explain, PLEASE LISTEN to me explain. I tell her that evidently the problem is with the Dispatcher, not me...she keeps talking over me, it made no difference! She said she'd call the Home Warranty Company they use and tell them to send me another Electric Company.
The icing on the cake...I look down at my phone and my Owner has forwarded me Acme's text that he received 1/2 hour earlier, saying they'd be there in 15 minutes, ha! They never contacted ME!
I'm a Professional and I know what it takes to make Clients happy, you go out of your way need be (like my driving 45 minutes to my Clients house for his service call) ....the Client is ALWAYS RIGHT. Acme Electric needs to go back to the drawing board, and redefine what service is. When the ""Owners Wife"" behaves this way, what kind of respect and service can be expected from the workers? I'd give them -2 Stars if I was able, ha!

Can't get them to return my calls. They have been working on the same wiring since 6/29/2017. They came out the first time, not enough to time so they had to reschedule. The second time they came, the guy had no idea why he was at my house. The 3 time they took the pipe to the shop to bend the pipe. Now no return call n no pipe thT operates the pool spa. AHS keeps me on hold for over 1 hour. Found out today that AHS is under investigation for fraud n other things.

Overall great job by them. I called my warranty company because one of our ceiling fans was dancing a little. It was not as stable when on its highest fan setting. I did not want it to fall down on my son's head. They sent Johnny to check it out. He was very professional and polite. He brought the fan down checked it and set it back up. Great job. It still has a little instability but it is fastened tightly and not going anywhere. You can use the fan in the highest setting now. The only thing I would have liked better is that my cheap warranty company (First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation) would have paid for the tech to install the bracket the fan was missing. I found out it was not part of the visit. It was approx $120 an hour to come back and do that and of course not covered under my warranty.
Jhonny did a great job and will consider him for future electrical jobs for my house.

this company was sent by American Home Shield and i was not supposed to pay the service fee because of a pre-arrangement with the company they insisted and I called AHS before they were 5 minutes from my home and they called the service rep who said they were going to ""VOID"" the check!! These thieves cashed my check!! Don't trust these people to do any work for you! Don't let them in your house! if i could give them a minus 1000 for being thieves i would!! of course they are closed on he weekend and i can't call them but i will call them everyday until i get my money back!! Do not USE this service or Johnny Martinez or Johnny Olivares ever!!!

American Home Shield assigned Acme Electric to our work order. Manuel came out at beginning of time frame quoted and completed the job quickly. He was polite & willing to explain everything necessary to ensure he fixed the problem. We are so impressed we asked for his business card for when other electrical issues come up. Highly recommend him!!

I was assigned this company by my home warranty company (same company as the guy who is complaining before me, and I've never had a problem with them either), and I am glad!

Manuel came through in the earlier portion of the 12-4pm window they gave me. The company also sent text message updates letting me know he was on the way.

He arrived somewhere between 1-130, greeted me politely with a handshake and asked about what was going on. I told him everything and he got right to work.

All in, he wasn't here more than half an hour. He found the problem right away and fixed it way faster than I expected.

Thanks for everything, acme!

Our home warranty assigned to Acme Electric. The electrician was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I was impressed! lol And I am NOT easily pleased- especially right now (going on 6 days without a fridge. Wish Acme did appliances!).
I will recommend these guys!

About as rude and uninterested as any service company I've experienced.
They were sent by First American warranty (another bad company to deal with - but that's another story).
They were supposed to repair or replace a smoke detector that was chirping every 30 seconds or so.
They tested the detectors and said they were working fine. I asked why they were chirping and they said that's what they do when they need to be replaced.
??? If they're working good, why replace them?
They said they were working good and replacing them was my problem.
They did't care about fixing the problem, just testing the units and getting out. I guess they were too busy to fool around with my ""repair,"" although I don't know why.
Maybe they have enough commercial business, so if you're a consumer don't bother them with your problems.
I would never bother them again and hope I've helped you make a decision.
