I agree with all the great reviews on Joel and Ace Electrical Services.
They are a fantastic outfit. The reviews, though few, helped me to try out Ace, and I do not regret it. I had them do quite a few things to a recently purchased 1954 house and am pleased with all the work they did (recessed cans in the front soffit, pulling new lines for flood lights and outlets, troubleshooting faulty switches and lights, running new circuits for power tools to the garage, etc.) Joel had great recommendations and was friendly, professional, and very courteous with my questions / curiosity. I will be using them again.

This is a complete Yelp success story! Our 3 year old Maytag dishwasher suddenly would not power up. Got on yelp to find a appliance repair man, he came out told us we need an electrician. Ok, got back on Yelp found Ace, liked the reviews and book them online through Yelp. There was some sort of booking error between Yelp and Ace. I selected the 2-5pm slot but somehow that was submitted to Ace as a 7-10pm slot! That choice did not even exist! I did not expect anyone to show up. However, Ace called me around 6:30, to confirm my slot. They had an electrician available, it was still early, and my wife and I are tired of washing dishes by hand! He showed up around 7:30 and quickly was able to diagnose the problem. The Home Depot installation was a complete disaster. The idiots spliced a plug install with a hard wire install. It was not done correct. The wiring actually shorted out, should have flipped a breaker but did not. We had a hot wire that could have caused a fire. Thanks to Yelp we had the right man on the job. He wired the dishwasher correctly. He replaced a faulty light switch. 45 minutes later, the dishwasher was back on and goodbye hand washing dishes! $200 bucks well spent. Ace is great, Yelp is great, and our lives are improved. Love this app, used to be an elite, but still use this app as a solid resource to get through life and find great BBQ.

I needed a professional to come out to check on my ""do-it-yourself"" electric dryer outlet installation...so glad I called....had some things ""not quite right"".

I spoke with a very pleasant lady to make the appointment and then I received a text with the name of the service man and the arrival time.

Ace Electrical Services is First Class! Very Professional and Personable! I used Yelp to send out quotes to 5 different companies and the owner Joel responded within 15 mins. Keep in mind this was about 9pm on Friday when I was searching for a company to come and wire up a transfer switch to my electrical panel so that I can use my generator to provide back up power to my home. Joel was not only the quickest to respond, but he was also very reasonably priced. I let Joel know that I would like to provide the material to save on some cost, he was very helpful and asked that I send him what I was looking to purchase to ensure the equipment would be sufficient for the job. Joel showed up on time, did a great job installing the transfer switch that ended up looking amazing!!! Like it belonged there! A very professional looking installation. He walked me through how to hook up my generator to the transfer switch and the proper way to switch the circuits to generator power. I would highly recommend Ace Electrical Services to anyone!!! Ace electrical services came out and installed our new high bay lighting for our detail shop. They scheduled us next day which was great because we were on a deadline with a few of our clients. Came out and installed job from start to finish in one day and now we have triple the lighting we did before. Our detail bay was left clean, organized and well-lit. They didn't leave one piece of trash or garbage anywhere. We will be using them for our future projects.

I needed two ceiling fans installed in the spare rooms of my house. I received quotes from several places, and Ace Electrical was the most reasonably priced. The electricians showed up on time, answered all my questions, and even came up with a less expensive method for installing the ceiling fans without a complete rewiring. This is a family oriented company and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. We will most certainly use them again!

When I had an electrical problem, Ace was one of three companies suggested by Home Advisor. They were the first to contact me and make an appointment (same day!). The owner, Joel, is a Master Electrician and did a thorough inspection. I decided to follow his recommendation of a complete rewire since I was contemplating extensive renovation which would require dependable wiring. He and his crew, Johnny and son and Edgar were at the house the next day getting the job started. The crew worked every day until it was all done. Every evening, the house was left in excellent order, swept and cleaned. There were minimal openings made in the walls. In fact, when the city inspector cam to approve the work, he didn't believe a rewire had been done as there were so little visible openings in the walls. I highly recommend Ace for any electrical service. I found them to be very honest, conscientious and responsive.
