These guys are the ones you need to call for electrical repairs/additions/replacements in your home. So far (and I say that because we will have them back), they have added cans, fluorescents, outlets, switches and under cabinet lighting to our 3 year old house. DJ and Eden are professional, friendly and speedy. They give you a time of arrival, and their price is reasonable. No longer do we have dark rooms, a dark garage, a dark cabinet corner, or a printer under my desk. Cannot tell you how happy we are!

Ace is honest and knowledgeable. The lights and outlets in my bathroom stopped working. I checked the breaker and even replaced the GFCI outlet thinking that went bad but still no luck. I called Ace Electric to schedule an electrician. The person that answered the phone suggested that given the age of the home, I check all the other GFCI outlets near the bathroom - other bathrooms, garage, etc. Found out it was the upstairs bathroom GFCI outlet that had tripped. I reset it and it worked like a charm! I appreciate Ace's willingness to help out and more importantly, their honesty in not taking advantage of the issue. I'll definitely go back to them for a few other projects I have.

Not only were Ace Electric the best electricians we've dealt with in 30 years in Austin, but they might also be the best service contractor, period (Austin's Wildlife Removal is tough competition in this regard, however). I just needed to replace two fluorescent fixtures with two LED fixtures, but one electrician who's done good work for us in the past quoted me a cost of over $500 to do the work. Needless to say, Ace was significantly cheaper.

But price was really the least impressive aspect of this job. They arrived exactly on time on a Friday afternoon - when does that ever happen with contractors in the middle of the day? - and they were done in less than one hour. We almost don't want to recommend these guys, they are so good - we feel like keeping them all to ourselves. So... you're welcome! You won't be disappointed.

Carl does a great job and takes his time to do it. Had him replace an outdoor breaker for a furnace and give some pointers on a few upcoming projects. He is courteous, returns calls, and communicates well.

Just had the guys come out to install 3 light fixtures yesterday. They are very reasonable compared to others. Others wanted to charge at least $100-$150 per hour and said the estimated time to install each pendant light was 30 to 40 minutes. Yikes! That's around $300, but ACE charged me $50 per light fixtures since they did not have to relocate wires. They've been in business for 40 years. Very surprised that the do not have many yelp reviews. Definitely call them. I will post before and after picture of the light fixtures. I'm having them come out again to install my light fixture in the powder room once it arrives and put in dimmers which is only $12 per dimmer once I get it at home depot.

Lightning struck our house last night and although we didn't have a lot of damage, we wanted to make sure that all of our circuits, plugs, and breakers were working properly. I called several places many didn't answer but I didn't want to leave a message so when Ace actually answered the phone, I was thrilled. They came out within an hour and did diagnostics and told us what needed to be fixed and what was OK. I really appreciated their quick service and honest suggestions.

I can't say enough about Ace electric. I called him in a panic because both of my AC's had shut off (and so had the panel). He tried to trouble shoot with me over the phone. Then he came out to me (on a weekend) within half an hour. Turns out it wasn't an electrical issue at all- it was a plumbing issue- the overflow valve shut off the AC's. He actually proceeded to unclog my drain!!! Then he charged me such a reasonable price! He is also such a nice guy and gives out his cellphone number so you can reach him.

Carl was able to squeeze me into his busy day. I was in a pinch trying to get a fixture working so I could photograph my place. He got it working very fast and was super patient with the photographer. When I mentioned that I needed to replace the smoke detector he happened to have one in his truck and installed it for me. This really is as good as it gets for residential electrical!!! Thank you Carl

Carl was absolutely Awesome!! After wasting over $100.00 using Fox Electric. Fox never did find the problem. When I called Ace, and spoke to Carl over the phone, he immediately knew what it was. He came out, and was 100% accurate on his diagnosis! I used him for other work in my house, as I was getting ready to sell it. Then, when I moved to Buda, I recommended Carl to another neighbor. They had him come out, and once again, he fixed their problems right away! I will never use Fox or ARS ever again, now that I have my electrical connection. (Pun intended) :o)
