We have been dealing with accurate since July2024 when they initially started the work for us. They replaced furnace coils, installed a new AC and were supposed to replace ducting under our house and redesign the ducts for optimum air flow.

We had very little air getting to the back of our house and they reassured us they can fix it. The first time they came out I noticed they only pulled out a small section of ducting from under the house to replace.. Mind you our house is 3200sq ft and has 4 runs of ducting with multiple branch outs. We immediately started to have issues with hot air coming up from outside. It smelled musty like under the house.

The vents in the back still had very little air. They came back and replaced more ducting like they should have the first time and put in deflectors and that made almost no difference. The new AC made no difference and ductwork that was supposed to be fixed made no difference and electrical bills have reflected that this year.

Weeks following this we have caught over a dozen mice in our ducting vents!! So they had left areas open for them to start coming in.

Fast forward to our first cold front when we got heavy winds I can feel lots of cold air coming up through my vents. The company send someone out and they sealed two large holes where the tech said they didn't clean it well and the duct came loose from when they were attaching new ducting. So all summer long we were probably blowing our AC out under the house!!

They have came out 3 more times since then to tape up various places, that should have already replaced and new. They do send a tech out and they ""try"" but the issues continue even now.

We blew through $300 in propane in 6 weeks (which normally last us 3 months) and our electric bill was $500 for one month, over the average we have this time of year and this year has been warmer.

The last tech told us he did seal up holes but we have air coming in because of missing insulation which they had to rip through to ""fix"" the ducting. Which makes no logical sense. You don't have air blowing unless there is holes.

I have been using space heaters for the rooms because the air is still not coming out like it should and I assume we still have leaks.

They also never emailed me the pictures from
Under my house or the itemize list of work they did like they said they would several times. We paid them $16,000 and my issues are even worse and we have mice still coming in! We should have had a company install mini splits, which also should have been THIS companies suggestion in the first place.

I used these guys before and thought they were a pretty straight forward and honest company. After reading over a few other reviews I see this is not a one time thing of over pricing a job with excessively high estimate. Blower Motor & Wheel for my unit I was given an estimate of $1000 more than the total cost of another honest contractor charged me for a brand new Blower motor and wheel installed. I contacted Accurate Home Services by email to make them aware of the difference in cost. The manager informed me his tech had ""misquoted"" the price which was double what the manager said he was supposed to charge. Only problem with that while I was getting second opinion. Accurate Home Services text me to informed me they had financing options. No mention of misquote. I believe they would have accepted the estimated amount had I chose to use them. Techs are nice and professional. I had no problems with work quality on previous jobs. But I will now feel I was over charged for every job Accurate has done for me. The manager offered discounts for future jobs but no offer to refund the service call I paid.

I had Accurate out because the A\C wasn't keeping up in the 105 degree temperature. The service guy told me the evaporator coil was bad. He quoted me $4,965 to replace it and tried to get me to replace the whole system. I called an A\C company out of Athens and I am having them replace it at $1,899.

This is for Danny Boles from the Crandel Office.

Danny presented a professional appearance and did a nice quick repair that we hired him for, and I was happy about that. He also went above and beyond in removing some tree limbs that were on my roof that my 80-year-old self was not up to getting to myself.

Thanks, Danny. I'll certainly be using your services in the future,

This company is very shady. They say the service fee is $79.00 waived with any repairs but that is not true. They lie to you just so you will schedule an appointment. All they want to do is sale and not repair anything. If I were you I would just call another company who is honest and not a liar. Call another company who treats you with respect and acts like you matter since they make their money off of you. I will never call this company again. They also are advertising that they have 2 locations, one in Kaufman and one in Crandall. This is also a lie and a scam. They are not in Kaufman anymore. They relocated to Crandall. If they can't even be honest about that, then that just proves you can't trust these scammers. Seems like they only care about their Google reviews. I will post this as well on their google and anywhere else I can post.

I am totally disappointed with the service I received. The Technician Jose was good but the company provided false information to me over the phone. They told me it would be a $79 service fee to detect by Doorbell problem and when the Technician arrived, he said it would be $335 to run a diagnostic test to determine if my hard wired doorbell on the outside was receiving power to the transmitter. It wasn't. Since it was hardwired, he indicated he couldn't fix the doorbell because there was a break in the line somewhere and said he would only charge me half the price of the diagnostic. What was the $79 quote for? I had to pay $167.50 and still no doorbell. Wow......is that good customer service?

Didn't use them as their quote was unreasonably high... like $4000 in materials cost for a ductless HVAC unit for a single room. A simple Google search shows that this is outrageous.

I wouldn't post anything at all, except the guy browbeat me on the phone to get a quote, which I thought was silly. I had a 400 sqft room, and I just wanted to know how much they were going to charge to do the work. He talked about this complicated stuff on the phone that I didn't understand, so I agreed to the estimate, and then when the guy came out he said it was basic and got the quote together quickly. And it was very expensive, probably because they are sending people out all the time.

Anyways three stars because the tech was nice, but docking two because I had to waste time meeting him. They could've just told me it would be at least $X and I would know that they were out of my price range. Who knows maybe their work really is a lot better than all the other quotes that were less.

Horrible, horrible company. Per my home warranty I had with my lakehouse on Cedar Creek, I engaged this motley crew to fix my ailing HVAC. They ""discovered"" numerous issues with my inside units that were only partially covered by the warranty and ""fixed"" them for over $2,000 to me. No big deal, the home wasn't new and during the summer in Texas you've gotta have AC. Less than six months later I experienced some real issues (not the fantasy kind this company dreamt up during their initial visit) and called these guys (a husband and wife, the owners). They never showed so I set up another date/time, no show again. So, I try once again, same outcome, nothing but crickets from these lovely folks. I know, I'm too patient, I've gotta work on that.

I finally realized it wasn't happening with Accurate Air and called another company. The new company showed on time and diagnosed my current problems and pointed out some other issues he noticed. Well, the other issues were shoddy workmanship performed by Accurate Air not the least of which being all of the supply air ducts' improperly sealed flanges at the plenum, on both inside air handlers. All of that nice, cold air pumping into my attics, never making inside where I was, all the while overtaxing my HVAC.

Please, do yourself a huge favor, steer clear of Accurate Air, for your sanity and wallet. Based on other reviews, they clearly have a history of dishonesty, poor ethics, and non-existent communication skills. Bozos!

From 6/23/18: This place is horrible. Was referred to them through a home warranty company and weeks later we had no fix and no communication that we did not initiate. The BBB A+ rating is a joke. They don't do what they say and, even more outrageous, they don't tell you when they haven't done the work. Nobody there seems to know what's going on so you can't even get anyone to help with your problem. Steer well clear of these people!
Update (responding to the below): I appreciate your response, but this was for a lake house on Cedar Creek, not Colleyville. You are the correct 'Accurate Air'. Your guy made two trips out and told us (erroneously, when we finally tracked him down) that he had fixed the A/C problem when he had not. We fooled with your company for more than a month and lost three or four weekends dealing with our A/C issue. The choice was to continue this dance all summer long or get somebody else in on our dime and fix the problem. That's what we ultimately did due to the terrible service and communication of this company.
