We installed an AC/heat pump in August 2021, and we have had a very disappointing experience. To be fair, my interactions with Mario and the technician Johnny have been very pleasant and I feel like my concerns were initially met with professionalism. However, a number of issues arose from the very beginning that have left me incredibly disappointed in the quality of the product and service they provided.
1) within the first week of install, the heat pump in the attic leaked water as the outlet hose was not attached properly and we had a significant amount of water dripping from our ceiling due to poor installation of the heat pump/AC unit in the attic. In fairness, the technician fixed the problem the next day, but it was very disconcerting to have water dripping from our ceiling.
2) Our unit continued to freeze and stop cooling our house, and despite multiple attempts to fix it, we were told that we could not keep the temperature setting below 71 degrees because the unit wasn't built to keep the house that cool. We live in San Diego and it isn't incredibly hot (usually about 80-85 degrees), our AC set at 70 degrees is not an inappropriate temperature.
3) our condenser started running very loud outside (it was much quieter for the first 2 months after install), and when the technician came out to assess it, he said the loud sound is normal. This is despite him assuring me when it was installed that these units are ""very quiet"" as I had concerns about it being placed directly outside my daughters bedroom window.

Again, Mario has been very nice and professional when I've spoken to him, but unfortunately we are incredibly disappointed in the quality of the product, and feel very frustrated that our AC unit that freezes hasn't been adequately fixed. We were recently informed the unit freezes because the filter wasn't changed, but at the time of the unit freezing, the filter was new. I tried explaining, this but there has been no response. Again, my interactions with Mario and Johnny have been very pleasant, but I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of the product.

Very happy with the service ACVolt Electrical provided. I called them to install an EV charging station at my house and the end results came out just as I wanted. Thank you Mario Flores and his partner, they did an amazing job! And Jeff for following up with me to make sure process was moving forward. Over all, great customer service, reasonable price, completed project in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my EV charging station project. I will definitely be using ACVolt electrical for future projects!

I don't know how they have an overall rating of 4. If l could give them zero l would. They didn't tell me when they were coming until the day before when l called to ask when they were coming. When they did come they missed replacing an outlet. They said l had a shirt somewhere and they would come back to diagnose it. The day they were supposed to come back they blew me off and didn't show up. The day after the electricity went out in my kitchen. I called and they couldn't come. I told them to not bother coming back to diagnose the electrical short because they're not reliable. I've called and text since then to ask when they're coming to replace the outlet l paid for that they missed doing and I've gotten crickets. Do NOT use these people. They're not reliable. They don't care. Use BURGESON electric. They came same day when the electricity went out in my kitchen. They're affordable. They care. They stay in contact with you. Oh, and the electrical short AC Volt said I had doesn't exist. I had Burgeson check and I don't have any electrical shorts. AC Volt sucks!

We bought a home in San Bernardino and soon realized we didn't have an AC unit. We didn't want to go with a whole house AC unit because of the cost and electric bill. We called around and found AC volt was the most reasonably priced for a mini split unit. We ordered 2 units one for the living room and the other for our bedroom since those are the most common areas we are in. I was super surprised to see our electric bill only go up by $50! We were so happy

Got service from Mario. Poor workmanship and unprofessional. He got in an argument with my family members about an outlet that was not working. My family member told him to check certain wires and he initially refused to because he was too proud. In the end, Mario was incorrect. So terrible that he made a scene like that.

We compared 4 installers for our 240V outlet, and we were so pleased to have AC Volt Electrical complete the work. Their entire team was very responsive to our questions. Their experienced technicians surveyed our location and determined the best method to route and hide the wires. We were extremely happy with the results. Among other things to expect - AC Volt Electrical were accurate with their time estimates, punctual to start, and cleaned up after the work. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking quality electrical work.

We scheduled two appointments. The first was a no-show with no call or follow up. The second, after the technician was 30 minutes late we reached out and they assured us they would be here within 30 minutes. Again, a no-show. They compromised two days of our time. If you want a reliable company - I would not suggest them.

The team at AC Volt were great! They were professional and on time and very personable. We had a new A.C. system put in along with new ducting and all for a reasonable price. There was no hassle working with them and we are very happy with their work.
