I had the pleasure of a shared broken main to my business property/and neighbor business, on a business day.
Dan Foss is a client of mine, and the first that I would call.
Not only did he fix the bust promptly, but he did so at the end of his day.
To top it all off, it was Dan's anniversary. However, he recognized that water is essential for both my training facility and the Veterinary practice next door.
I was and still am filled with gratitude.

I'm reviewing two technicians today, because I've had multiple good experiences with ABT.

So first, we had Plumber Dan out to help with some old house problems, most importantly that we had awesome hot water in the kitchen, but the cold water was a dismal little trickle. As it turns out, the old cold water pipes in the kitchen were VERY old, and the process to replace them was VERY involved. Like, remove an exterior wall to get to them involved. SO, Dan took a look at some alternative options and figured out a really cool system for re-routing our cold water to the sink, washing machine and this other weird shower issue in the back, solved all our problems, and cost us a fully reasonable amount of money for the straight up wizardry he enacted on our kitchen.

THEN! We've had a leak in the kitchen faucet. Low grade, but when the weather changes (it's that first warm week of April!) it leaks faster. It's not cool to waste water, and it's annoying in the middle of the night to hear the plink plink of the sink. So we start investigating how to turn off the water to the sink so we can pull off the faucet and change the washers and tighten everything up. Except... We can't find the water cutoff. We called ABT to ask if Dan had notated where the water cutoff was, and he offered to come out (!) and show us, since (#oldhouseproblems) the wall-mounted, 100+ year old sink didn't have it's own cutoff, we'd have to turn off the water to the whole house to pull off the fixture. Simple fix. Full service dude, coming out to answer our question. I'm sure he could have charged us a service fee but he didn't.

So that's Dan.

Today! Today we had Kevin come out to do a (long overdue) service on our HVAC system. He walked us through the steps he'd use to check everything, did that, advised us on some ways to save money and make things easier on our part, and gave us some helpful hints on when to get service done in the future. He was very professional (wearing the little booties and everything to protect our floors which see so much worse daily) and was super sweet to our dog, who kept forgetting who her knew friend was and barking at him anytime he'd come back in. And! After all was said and done, he was finishing his paperwork in the van, and he saw the super heavy garage door was still open, so he went and closed it for us, knowing that I'm pregnant and short and I'd have to wait for my husband to come down and close it. Quality human, quality service, excellent experiences across the board.

So, hire ABT is what I'm saying.

I've worked with ABT for a few years, needing help with various plumbing and heating/cooling issues in my home from time to time. Always have had an excellent experience and today was no different. Called yesterday right befoe 5 and was able to get an appt this morning. Dakota showed up and was pleasant and helpful, as always. He diagnosed my problem in no time and thankfully it was a super easy fix this time but I know he would have stayed as long as needed to get it squared away. Everyone at ABT is so nice and it's just great to know that anytime I need help it'll be done in a timely and professional way. There are some companies you use once or twice, and then there are those companies that are saved in your phone for anytime you need them. ABT is that kind of company. Thanks guys!

I am a landlord and when heating and air conditioning problems occur I call ABT. They respond quickly and find the problem fast. They also give basic level of repair and a choice of more preventitive repair I almost always go for the preventitive repair a stich in time saves 9.

We spent $20,000 with ABT to put in two boilers at our store. Now that it needs service they send Paul who has no idea how to service it, what the error code means and he just throws out prices with no idea what's even wrong with it. One minute it could be 175 then 800 then 550. Tells us it will be 550 to call tech support even if he spends 5 min working on it. Was apparent he didnt want to be there and didnt want to work on it. All I heard from him was complaining. Called to talk to the owner who I'm told is gone on vacation and no one there knows when he will be back. Since when does an owner not tell his staff when he will return. Now I have to call the sales reps for HTP boilers and find another repair company. What a bunch of crap.

I normally use another plumbing company in town but they weren't available so I used ABT and I've got to tell you probably the worst experience I've had with a plumber . They charged me $620 to cut up about 20 feet of drywall that I know have to pay for and all they really did it was snake the line and the issue never got fixed. Next they wanted to charge me $6500 to dig a 50 ft long trench 6 inches deep and put in galvanized pipe. I received a quote for the same trench and pipe from another company $750. These guys are a rip off.

I had ABT out to repair a toilet when the bolts from where it was attached on the floor became loose. They did a great job fixing it the same day!

ABT installed an all-new HVAC system in our house in Penn Valley. They were good to work with and I have a robust system in place now and everything seems to be working great. Thanks especially to DeeDee for staying on top of the project through completion. All the guys that performed the initial diagnosis and then installed the new system were good, and they made sure they kept the house clean during the process.

I got a quote from 3 different heating and air companies to replace my old system. ABT got our bid. I'm very happy with their service and price. Their technicians, Matt and Dillon had to perform a variety of different tasks that required knowledge of carpentry, electrical and of course, heating and air. I was very impressed with their professionalism and positive attitude. The job was very extensive and the weather conditions were rainy, yet, even under those conditions, they powered through the job.

On a side note, they had a very good tech who had come out to fix our old system, that stopped working.

So, all in all, I would highly recommend them and not hesitate to call them for service or installation!
