We contacted AV Electric to install two patio ceiling fans and some exterior lights. From the very first phone call, they were friendly, professional, and responsive. They showed up right on time and were thorough in explaining what they could do, what would work best given our current electrical situation, etc. When the day came (today) for the work to be done, they arrived on time. They were efficient, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. It was also clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Their pricing was more than fair, and they charged us exactly what was quoted. We are absolutely thrilled with the results; the installation looks clean and professional. We highly recommend AV Electric to anyone needing electrical work done, and will absolutely use them again if we need work done in the future.

Had them come out about 2 years ago to change and update all my outlets and light switches, and replace 2 light fixtures. They also put in a few recess lights but now my recess lights are falling down so i called Art and he said no it was impossible i told him to come and take a look hes the one that put them up. He said he would get back to me well i text him no answer and to this day still haven't heard from him. I will call another Electrician and make sure its done right this time.

STAY AWAY!!! Arthur is the least professional and most unreliable business owner I have ever dealt with. I contacted him for a bid to install recessed lighting, a fan, and light fixtures in my home. I should have know he was a flake from the initial meeting.
1. He never showed up to provide a bid when he said he was. I waited at my home for an hour and he did not answer phone calls or text messages.
2. I called him 2 days later and he said he had lost his phone over the weekend and didn't have my info. So I thought I'd give him another try.
3. On our next meeting, he texted me he couldn't make it but he'd sent one of his guys. I had to call him 4 times to receive a bid, and I didn't receive it until about 5 days AFTER his guy came to my home.
4. We agreed on a price and install date and Arthur texted me at 3 am in the morning saying he couldn't make it but he would send his guys out.

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! I called and texted to see what happened and he never picked up or answered his calls. I took time off work and wasted my personal time. His service is awful and I have told and will continue to tell my friends and coworkers to NOT use this guy.

I just had a problem with my outlets in my kitchen. I called around trying to find someone to come out right away while I was home from work. Electricians are apparently very busy and in high demand! When I called AV ELECTRIC I did get a voice mail and was feeling defeated so I just hung up. Not 10 seconds later I got a call back from them... I told Arthur what was going on and where I lived and he happened to be only minutes away. When he finished at his job he came right over - he was in and out, having solved my problem in less than 5 minutes! It was such a relief! They were fast, friendly and professional! I will definitely be calling them the next time I have electrical needs!! Thank you AV ELECTRIC!!!

After a few calls to my regular electrician and them not showing up I gave up and call AV Electric. Best decision of my life! These guys rock and know what they are doing. I highly recommend this place for all your electrical work. They installed a fan and fixed my broken fan in another room and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I love these guys. Kevin was very sweet.

My wife and I, purchased a new CalSpa Jacuzzi. The problem was that when I started making calls for electricians, I quickly realized that I would most likely need to change the Electrical Panel; something that was not mentioned to us by the dealer selling the Jacuzzi.

SHORT SUMMARY DURING HIRING SELECTION
1. I contacted 6 different companies (including AV Electric)
2. Over the Phone - AV Electric right out-of-the-gate, sounded friendly and professional over the phone
3. Over the Phone - The other companies - some sounded like I was contacting DMV
4. I contacted one big company (will not name them), that service the AV and parts of LA (SFV, Santa Clarita, etc). They wanted to tear up most of my cement, and were not willing to use my retaining wall at all to save me some money,
5. Another company, actually made me regret purchasing the Jacuzzi. They went as far to recommend I return it, and get my money back
6. Another company, made me feel stupid for not being more knowledgeable about the voltage a typical panel puts out, and what a Jacuzzi size that I purchase requires.


When AV Electric did the walk through, they actually provided better solutions to save me money; and that included not having to tear up most of the cement.

I mostly dealt with Arthur Garcia - we was very friendly, efficient, and a hard worker - all of his team was.

We all agreed they would come on a Sunday at 7am - they did - sharp. That Sunday was extremely hot - well in the 90s. They worked all day, and finished up 95% of the work by 7pm. They came back Monday afternoon, did some touch up on the wall of the house and cemented the portion they had to break.

Throughout the entire process, Arthur Garcia kept me informed, by either calling me or sending me a text.

It's been a month since they did the job, and all is well.
