Quick, relaible and professional - very nice service with fair price!
We ordered to install special plug for portable generator. After research and price estimation we decided to install it on the one of house's side. The manager was aware of all the details of using the generator and gave many recommendations and useful tips. The job required just couple hours including testing with generator. This is probably one of the best my experiences!

I needed a couple electrical upgrades to my home and after getting some quotes and doing research, I opted to go with ABR electric. I couldn't be more pleased with that decision.

For the quote, James provided a very thorough and honest write up of the work that would be done: a NEMA 14-50 installed for a future EV, a whole home surge protector, and a power inlet box so I can plug a generator into my home.

I appreciated that I was kept in the loop about everything. Communication is important to me. I also valued that the company took care of getting the permits and respected my property. For the inlet box, we opted to cut along the garage's drywall instead of running wire outside, but they took care to not make a mess or make it unsightly. They screwed the drywall pieces back on and I was able to fill the gaps with spackle and paint it so it looks like they were never there. I also really liked that their work didn't interrupt my day. They needed to move some of my switches in the breaker box, but it never disrupted my work since I work from home and having power to everything is super important.

Once everything was installed, James took the time to chat with us while waiting on the inspector to approve the installation. I can't thank him enough for walking us through how to use the generator and connect it to our home. I was deathly afraid I was going to blow my house up if I did something wrong, so I'm glad he was around to instruct us on what to do. It's little things like that that go a long way.

If I ever need additional electrical services, I'm giving ABR a call.

The assigned electrician was Jason. Good guy. Explained multiple option of how to get the job done, and made it happen. Had to cut into my wall, but the cuts were clean and easy to fix. Wendii the office Mgr is awesome too. Highly recommended!

After living outside of McKinney proper for seven years, we are still distressed to find how difficult it is to find reliable service people. ABR Electric is outstanding. The electrician texted to let us know that he was on his way and showed up right on time. The job required about 6 1/2 hours, and he worked steadily, stopping only for a short lunch break and to pick up a part. He was friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. We are happy to know who to call when we need an electrician in the future.

These guys are awesome. I requested a quote to put up a Tesla wall connector. I asked for a quote late Wednesday afternoon. My wall connector was installed less than 48 hours later. They provided me with a quote and an online site to accept the quote. I was invoiced and was able to pay w/ the push of a button. Just a very professional outfit. It's nice when you leave the work to someone else and they just know what to do and they do it right. That's no so common any more. Would recommend ABR to anyone!
