Eric's service FAR exceeded our expectations!! He came to install an electric car charger for us but we got so much more! While he was here we got talking about our air conditioning and he told us about how we could be saving money with SDG&E through their 'reduce your use' program where they upgrade you to a new programmable thermostat from Ecobee. He then offered to call them on our behalf to help us with what to say and set up the free appointment. He then told us about a down-light rebate program they also have which should help reduce our energy bill and gave us a free sample of the energy efficient globe we can claim the rebate on (where the rebate is more than the cost of the globe itself!). Then we got talking about the solar power package which we are soon to have installed, and he offered to look over the plans and the deal we were getting. He confirmed the company we were using was good and the panels high quality, and gave us guidance on how we could improve on the package by using micro-inverters over a central one. I called my solar company to find out more about this and my sales rep tried to talk me out of it and the information he was giving me didn't sound right... Eric offered to be on a call with us with them to advocate for us and he refused to take any money for his time, saying he just didn't want to see us getting ripped off. The guy was fantastic! He totally went above and beyond and we'll be using him for all our electricity needs from now on! VERY highly recommend!!

This Sunday an AC repair technician found out the electric circuit was the problem causing the failure of our AC. I contacted Eric in the morning and he agreed to come in 2 hrs. He was very nice and calling me to confirm his arrival and accommodate our schedule. He is very fast to identify the problem and fix quickly. We definitely would like to recommend him. Consider he works during weekend when emergency need comes up.

I would differently recommend Able. He came on a Saturday to hang a pendant lighting we got at Pottery Barn. He was reasonable, came in the day he said he would and was on time! He did a great job and it looks great.

I found Eric's Able Electric in Yelp for his excellent rating, and after Eric's service I understood why he got so many good comments - he is really that good!
I called Eric for two electrical problems in my house. He solved the first problem (concerning outdoor lights) in minutes. The second problem was in my refrigerator, and for that he needed to diagnose the circuit board and pinpointed a defective part. He even came up with a replacement part for it! My refrigerator was repaired by Eric in less than an hour, and Eric charged me for only a fraction of what would have costed me had I arranged a service call by the appliance maker. I give 5 stars to Eric for his master-level skills and professional manners.

Amazing service. Plumber was over to fix dishwasher, and found an electrical problem... Said to call our electrician... I didn't have an electrician... So went on yelp and found that carlsbad electrician had great reviews and called. Eric was here within 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem and repaired it in under an hour.... Gave us great ideas to cut down on our electrical bill and was very knowledgable. Will recommend him to all my friends... Even to family... Was really impressed.... Guess I have a electrician now... Thank you again Eric.

These days it is not easy to find a good electrician. Based on five star review i called Carlsbad electrician and i found out that the owner is the electrician and i am dealing with only one person. He installed six lights in my kitchen and installed occupancy sensor in garage, kitchen and laundry room and i saved money on my Electric bill and gained peace of mind.

I am very pleased with the service that I received from Eric at Carlsbad Electrician. He is efficient, very thorough and explained the process as he went. He had to cut a few holes in the wall but patched them nicely at no extra charge. I asked him to add another outlet in my bedroom and he was able to do that as well He was also very careful to lay plastic on the carpeting so nothing would be damaged.
I am happy with his service and would recommend him to anyone wanting a reliable reasonably priced electrician.

Eric is a great electrician! We started hiring him last June to install exterior lights in our court yard project. We were very impressed with the quality of his job; the light fixtures and conduit were installed perfectly. We hired Eric to do a few other jobs afterwards. Eric was very professional, proficient and honest which is a blessing when working with contractors. I was a little worried at first because he ran a little late but he called to let me know his status so I felt better. Once he arrived he quickly diagnosed and fixed my initial problem and even spared me from feeling silly for calling him in the first lace (it was a silly problem that I should have solved on my own).

At that time he asked if there were any other issues in the house and of course there were so we went down the list. There were several things on the list that he was open to tell me how I could address it on my own and save me the money, and a few other things that he gave an estimate for what it would cost for him to address. All very fair pricing. I had him fix a few things and the price was very far, and better than I would have expected.
