We had been putting off fixing our outlets that didn't work for YEARS! Samuel showed up on time and was very professional. He took his time and explained what he was doing the whole time. He was awesome! The repairs were priced fairly and we were very satisfied with the finished work. Great job Samuel!!

Samuel came out, spent about an hour checking inside and outside the house and declared that everything was fine. The important thing to note is that he spent considerable time checking the FPL box outside. Still said everything was fine. A week later, I tried to wash clothes and half the house experienced a slow down, lights were dim, no power in my home office and no a/c. They said they could come back out the next day, but suggested that I call FPL. Turns out it was an FPL problem the whole time and the FPL technician said Samuel should definitely have discovered that if he had done an adequate job when he checked the outside box. I lost a full day of work and bought a new washer and dryer based on the fact that they had both stopped working due to the problem. Abe, the owner, was very rude and said he didn't think it was ""fair"" that I expected a refund and he had done me a favor by even coming to Sanford. Lots of electricians out there so do your research and don't call Abe's Electric.

We had called for an appointment to have an electrician come to our home for some non functioning outlets outside the house. We had to wait a week but since it wasn't an emergency, we accepted an appointment for the following Wednesday morning. Just after 10am on our appointment day, my husband was called by receptionist to tell him that they were very busy and would not be able to come that day, and would call him again to reschedule for another day. When I got home from work and my husband told me the events, I was stunned. He missed work for this appointment. I called the office and was told the same story, that they were too busy and told me they could reschedule us for two weeks down the road. I told receptionist my husband had missed work and how unprofessional of them to conduct themselves in this manner, there was no apology for us and I assured her I would post my experience, so I'm keeping my word.

I contracted Abe's Electric for a restaurant build out as he came recommended. Abe showed up to review the plans and walk through the location to provide an estimate. He was courteous, professional and provided recommendations on how to work with all the contractors for the job. The electrical work required that we wire the location for a full build out in a location that was not already a restaurant so the work was substantial. Abe's team were professional, always on time and worked until everything scheduled was completed. He was very flexible as several changes and additions to the electrical plans were required. He and his team were the easiest and most reliable to work with on this job and provided top notch service. His team even helped guide the mechanical tradesman to complete some of their required work for the hood install. Kudos to Jason and Hernando who were the techs, and to Kathy who had to work extra hard to deal with permitting issues we ran into with the county. Some of the work required included, wiring for a new hood install, lighting, AC, emergency exit signage, electrical outlets for commercial kitchen equipment and steam table. I highly recommend Abe and his team and for sure have them as my go to team for all things electrical.
