kind of stupid but was looking for plumbing service, kept seeing their advertisement everywhere. good thing i came here to read the reviews. anyways on website it says REAL LIVE PERSON. im like great, so i start chatting and what do i get? Clair the bot. in which the same copy paste text it used was repetitive which is evident that its a bot. I called ""clair"" out and the bot kept saying its real but kept using copy paste to respond. if they are already LYING on their home page what more can they lie about. sure enough yelp reviews show they gouge price. i'll pass, the initial contact irritated me.

Mario came out for an electrical quote, he was very nice and answered my questions.
The quote was INSANE! $13,500 to add an additional box on my home (I was out of empty slots), 200ft of copper wire connected to a small box in my shed. Another $3,3500 to trench the 200ft! 2nd quote I received from another installer was $4,500.
Highway robbery.

My AC went out and I had called several companies trying to get a same day visit because it was really hot and my self and my 5 year old were home. They were the first to have an appointment for that day. $50 call charge was fine. My husband knew exactly what was wrong with it so we figured it wouldn't be too bad. The guy didn't even verify if our AC was under warranty before quoting us. Husband told him the AC was barely 3 years old so he quoted us again. Came back a few minutes later says oh the price went down a little then when we went to pay him the price went down a few more dollars. I feel like they play a guessing game on what they will charge to see how much someone is willing to pay. Won't use them again

Crazy Expensive! They were very responsive and friendly, but their quote for a very simple 30 min job was 3x more expensive than several other quotes. I was so shocked that I thought he had to have made an error. Nope, they are just expensive.

Had the best experiences with Abacus for the past few years have been excellent! Always professional, always timely and knowledgeable. All of our issues and upgrades have come with numerous options completely explained. The experience have been a breeze and reasonable. Saved our bacon on more than once!
Highly recommended.

I have moved into my Mom's house that was built in 1970 to care for her. I used Abacus a few times for smaller projects and did not get multiple quotes. The technicians were always very communicative, timely, kind, considerate, and helpful. They always tidied up before they left.
I had a problem wit the AC just at the beginning of summer so I called Abacus. The technician recommended a new ac and heater. Whoa!! I wasn't prepared to spend $13,000! So I got to more companies to come out. The second company said it could be replaced for $7,000. The last company was one whose business card I found on the side of the fridge. They came out and told me they had been servicing her ac and heater twice a year for goodness knows how many years. They had not been able to reach her and assumed she had passed away (Mom is 93 and can hardly eat so doesn't answer the phone). He checked it out and came out of the attic in about 39 minutes. He said it was fixed, very small repair. Needless to say his business card is on the front of the fridge!
I am so disappointed that Abacus tried to take advantage of us. I really liked so much about Abacus but I cannot dismiss.

We have used Abacus for many years and have received superb service. Always on time, always reliable and most importantly, do excellent work which they stand by. We really appreciate that they cover their shoes, and have done that way before Covid 19. Meticulously clean before and clean up any mess that they may make. We trust what they say and there is no hard sell. We are proud and grateful to be Members. Highly recommend Abacus and the people they use.

Easy to get a next day appointment but their prices are insane. They charge 450 dollars for a part that can be purchased for under 100 at any Walmart, Home Depot, etc. The technician also tried to sell me extra parts that were not necessary. Service was fine but will not use again nor would I recommend to others.

I called last Fri. to get an appt. ASAP, first available was Tues. between 1pm & 4pm. At 3:59pm they called and said it would be at least another hr. and the tech was really abrupt. I told him that I'd been waiting 3 hrs. and he didn't care. I expected a lot more from these people, but sure didn't get it. I cancelled and will go with someone else. Their ads are really misleading. They don't care at all about the customer.

This company is horrible. I should of researched their ratings before I called them. They clearly need a management overhaul and their teams retrained. I booked an appointment for this morning with an arrival time of 8am-10am for AC technician. After waiting from 7:45am-9:48am I get a call saying they don't do the work I requested. I needed to get Nest Thermostats installed and I needed some technical questions answered. This was all explained when I made the appointment. The operator said they had more important calls to handle first. He didn't care that he waisted my time this morning. The manager David said, ""it happens. "" He even said it happened to him when he purchased tires before. WTF! SMH. Unbelievable.
