Quick Fix but Overpriced Service...
Polite and knowledgeable technician came. Diagnose problem in less an 5 minutes. Replaced capacitor in 5 minutes and A/C unit is up. Technician did additional check for under 10 minutes The bill was $399. The original recommendation was to replace capacitor+fan for $999. I felt the recommendation was not for my benefit. I said just replace the capacitor. I used AA Services because its very near my neighborhood and I got their flyer. I should have looked more service providers and compare cost.

These guys are good. They recently installed a new evaporator coil in one of our units, and did it on time. They workmen are friendly, courteous, and clean. When I initially called them, they had someone at my house the same day, to check out the problem. They ordered the part, called me when it had arrived, and installed it when they said they would do so. I have no need to use anyone else for my A/C issues.

Called AA for semiannual maintenance inspection. Technician, Aaron arrived on time, introduced himself, and got right to work. He was efficient covering ever facet of AC unit inspection I was familiar with. At the end, I asked him to please vacuum out the compressor because we have had an above normal pollen drop this spring. He spent some time on this task and did a good job cleaning out the unit. At conclusion, he advised me of all his findings during inspection ( all good). Since I had paid for annual maintenance service, there was no fee this visit. I decided to wait for next visit to buy another annual agreement. No pressure from Aaron to reconsider my decision. I signed my invoice and Aaron left. Thank you for this great experience.

I saw their ad in the Money Magazine and called to have them look at our a/c unit because we are not getting cool air anymore. Same day. He confirmed that we have a coolant leak somewhere. Paid their ""service fee"". told them we were getting second opinion. He left without screwing back a panel on the unit. He had dropped the screws into the leaves. When I called to tell them that they needed to come back out to fix it and they said they wouldn't be able to come till next week. I felt I was getting the run around. I tried to put it back on by myself with no success. We do have to have the system replaced but will definitely not do business with this company.

Service tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a problem over a part that was installed and not working after only a few months but it was handle quickly and I am satisfied .

I was left with a $1300 bill and 2 broken AC units at my restaurant right before a hot weekend. I was told one unit had to be replaced at $6000. Another company charged half the $1300 and had both units going in 2 hours, not finding any leak or reason to replace a unit, cleared out a horribly clogged drain pipe AA said they cleared out. They didn't even check to see if the unit was under warranty, which it is. When I tried to get a refund from AA Service I was actually offered a BRIBE that if I went online to these sites and posted positive reviews I would get half my money back!

I did not use their services because of the misleading ad I saw in Money Magazine. They claim, ""100% financing"" and to apply online. I attempted to do that and the ""financing"" was to apply for a credit card with Wells Fargo. I thought from the ad that they financed their product, but that was not the case.

A young man came to my house and informed me that I needed a new air conditioning system because my coils had never been cleaned. I found someone to remove the air conditioner, clean the coils, and replace it. The system works fine and I have no more leaks. if I had listened to this man I would have wasted money on a new air conditioning system that was not need. (Watch them closely.)

Do not use this company. This is another example of a company that had really great service in the past, and for some reason has really stopped listening to the clients, and honoring their contracts. I've purchased service agreements from them in the past and always had excellent service. This time, I'm extremely unpleased. It's been less than 7 days since a repair and a cleaning withe the purchase of another ""service agreement"" and I'm being told in order to have someone honor the agreement, it will cost another $129... (the exact same price as the service agreement). I think not! SCAM!!!!!!!!

I've spent over $20,000 in 2 A/C units with Angie and her company AA Service and Repair. They do not honor their warranty. They are sloppy and do poor work. They damaged ceilings in my home and would not pay to have them repaired. Angie charged my line of credit I have with Wells Fargo through them $500 without telling me and then would not refund it. They said I had a year of service with these 2 brand new 16 seer Trane units and I haven't seen or heard from them since I signed the final paperwork with them. They haven't had an inspector out to look at the work they've done either. I am going to contact the City of Jacksonville to make sure they pulled permits to do the work. This really is the worst company I've dealt with ever. My current A/C company found many shoddy installation issues liked kinked copper lines, the wrong size lines and the tech even showed me the specs for the outside unit. Go ANYWHERE but to them.
Update: The work they did failed the inspection by the city AND they never pulled permits for the duct work throughout the house. I had to call the city to get an inspector out there! I wonder why they didn't call themselves?
