Anthony and Angie launched the company in late 2003 following the arrival of their first child. At first, Angie managed operations from home, securing business, booking services, and handling accounting while caring for their daughter. Meanwhile, Anthony responded to service calls after his day job, and it wasn't long before the business expanded beyond their residence. Within a year, with the addition of another child, they moved into an office, expanded their team including office personnel and repair specialists. Consequently, Anthony left his day job to focus completely on AA Service. The business grew steadily. With a growing satisfied customers, AA Service and Repair - North Florida AC is well-established in the Jacksonville community.

Born and raised Arcadia, Florida, Anthony is a alumnus of the high school in Desoto. He also holds a degree from the University of Florida. Anthony is certified by the Environmental Protection Agency, qualified in mold services, a qualified mechanical contractor, a licensed plumbing contractor, a qualified building contractor, NATE certified, and licensed for LP gas.

AA Service and Repair (Air Conditioning) - One of the most horrid experiences I have had with getting a repair done. Highly suggest you look elsewhere.

Technician came out on Friday and found the fried relay board in the air handler. Said they would have the part the next day and someone out there in morning. Wow! Impressed. Said I just had to pay the $800 up front. Um, ok. Hey I have a coupon for $150 off a major repair - can i use it? Sure! Down to $650...Nice! Now that I have the original part I realize you can buy this all over on-line for $50.

11:00am Saturday - haven't heard a thing. Call - our tech told you what? No we can't order a part on Friday night. Won't have it until Monday. We'll let you know.

10:30am Monday - haven't heard a thing. Call - oh sure we'll probably have it this afternoon and can come by.

4:20 pm Monday - tech finally comes and asks me if he's just there to replace a part they gave him. I'm like ..um, you tell me - didn't they tell you what was going on? He said not really, he just got diverted to do it.

After a conversation I also find out they only use a local supplier that is open Mon-Fri. So Friday - they knew there was no way they were going to pick up a part until sometime Monday. Are you telling me in this day and age when it took me less than 5 minutes to find a place to order this part on line that would ship overnight you couldn't do that for a customer? And why did I have to keep calling about an update or status? There was zero communication initiated by the company other than letting me know when the tech was finally on the way Monday afternoon to make sure i was home and twiddling my thumbs in my 97 degree house waiting for him. And to charge me a 800% markup? - sure some of that is labor but your techs were here for 1/2 hour each.

The techs themselves were nice enough, but whoever is running this company is robbing people blind, has no concept of good customer service/communication to institute, and needs to move beyond one local supplier only open M-F 8-5.

I was one week out of surgery and my air stopped working. I picked up my MONEY magazine and called AA Service and Repair because it advertised FREE inspection. It was NOT free. FALSE advertising. They charged $86 to come in the door. Then told me my 11 year unit had to be replaced. I said I couldn't afford that as a single mother. I just purchased this home one month ago and the AC passed a very thorough inspection. Next, the service agent, Duwonne (Spelling?) said he had to call manager - this went back and forth several times. Then they offered $600 to replace refrigerant and a $249 blow out to check lines. I said, when and how long and the service tech said a manager would have to order freon, he didn't carry it on his truck and couldn't do it. Kept going in and out making calls. He then came in and said I needed entire new system. I literally cried. Finally, I told the guy to forget it - just give me the $86 bill. I'm going to try to get a second opinion today. Praying I can find someone who is reputable in this city.

Very responsive, professional, honest and knowledgeable technitions. They are quick to respond to any issues and are flexible with scheduling. We had a brand new unit installed at our home. After a couple of days I noticed the condenser platform wasn't level and their manager Jeremy was quick to respond and fix the problem. In another visit, Correy another tec, was extremely helpful and had my best interest in mind. He easily located a problem but wasn't famular with how to fix it. He called upon his manager, Jeremy again, to help with the situation. They were busy that day but found time to return later the same day to complete the work. Thank you again for your excellent customer service.

Had them come out to do an ac repair, before even telling me what's wrong with the unit, they wanted to charge me $349 to put a new cap on the high voltage wire, something that probably costs less than 10 cents, I told them, no thanks. Had another company come out and they of course replaced the cap and wouldn't you know, they didn't even charge me for it. Call anyone else before you call these guys.

AA replaced my Trane unit in March 2015 in my rental home. The tenants left after their lease was up in May 2016 and I inspected the house. I was disappointed to see the shoddy installation work of the unit and I immediately called them to voice my displeasure. Sean, one of the managers, came out and viewed the installation. He agreed some things should have been done better and he he fixed all the repairs himself even though my one year warranty had expired...at NO CHARGE!! I was glad they stood behind their work and rectified the installation...service after the sale. I may not have been happy with their initial work, but in the end, they took care of all my concerns. Quick Fix but Overpriced Service...
Polite and knowledgeable technician came. Diagnose problem in less an 5 minutes. Replaced capacitor in 5 minutes and A/C unit is up. Technician did additional check for under 10 minutes The bill was $399. The original recommendation was to replace capacitor+fan for $999. I felt the recommendation was not for my benefit. I said just replace the capacitor. I used AA Services because its very near my neighborhood and I got their flyer. I should have looked more service providers and compare cost.

These guys are good. They recently installed a new evaporator coil in one of our units, and did it on time. They workmen are friendly, courteous, and clean. When I initially called them, they had someone at my house the same day, to check out the problem. They ordered the part, called me when it had arrived, and installed it when they said they would do so. I have no need to use anyone else for my A/C issues.

Called AA for semiannual maintenance inspection. Technician, Aaron arrived on time, introduced himself, and got right to work. He was efficient covering ever facet of AC unit inspection I was familiar with. At the end, I asked him to please vacuum out the compressor because we have had an above normal pollen drop this spring. He spent some time on this task and did a good job cleaning out the unit. At conclusion, he advised me of all his findings during inspection ( all good). Since I had paid for annual maintenance service, there was no fee this visit. I decided to wait for next visit to buy another annual agreement. No pressure from Aaron to reconsider my decision. I signed my invoice and Aaron left. Thank you for this great experience.
