They did do everything to rectify the situation and so far their work is good so far I am updating to say if they mess up they will at least a kit and try to correct it.

The young man who came to give me a quote was very nice, friendly and professional. The price was much higher than expected, but if I don't find a better price, I will use A-1 plus for sure

If I could leave ""No Stars"" I would. I am located in Texas City, called on Monday for a ""Visual Estimate"" for Ducting. I was put on the schedule of 1pm-4pm window for Tuesday. Received text to confirm appointment, and I did. Tuesday @245pm I called to get status, was advised they would call to see where & how long it would be & would call me back with an ETA. 4;04PM, NO CALLBACK, NO ETA, NO SHOW NO CALL FROM TECHNICIAN.
If you can not adhere to ""your schedule"", then why was I put on one?

Hired A1plus to install a generator, went with them as their timeline was pretty quick for an install, and given the storms recently in Houston, that was a pretty big selling point.
Rodney, the sales rep was nice, and pretty much showed me exactly what would need to happen for the install, and agreed with the placement of my generator in a spot of the yard that would have it out of the way.
3 weeks later, called to install and I was on my way. First hiccup was that the installers didn't agree with the easement assessment Rodney had done, so ended up installing the generator in kind of a weird part of the yard, per Rodney's estimate, 5ft from each fence would be the placement, per the installers, 5ft from the the northern fence, and 12ft from the western fence is the best they could do, unfortunately it almost puts the unit in the middle of the backyard, which is not ideal.
Next, the 3rd party plumber they hired randomly showed up every day for a week to tweak something on the generator to get it installed and inspected, not a big deal, but just kind of weird they never announced his coming, just would randomly show up. The end result of his part of the install is honestly....not great looking. I'm no plumber, but you can see the pic, looks half assed in my opinion.
Current status though is that my install didn't pass electrical inspection last Wednesday 8/7/24, today Monday 8/12, they have yet to fix anything. All that has happened was a crew came out last Friday evening and told me that they came into the job blind, and didn't have the correct parts and would have to be back next week. Further, when I asked about a soft start for my AC that was supposed to be installed, they were very confused.
Anyways, overall, your experience may vary, but communication isn't great, and so far execution is pretty bad, perhaps consider a different installer.
Update: Was told all day Monday a crew would come fix the issue and be ready for inspection Tuesday, received a call late Monday saying they'll be out early tuesday to beat the inspector, after me following up with them this morning(Tuesday) they are now saying they should be here today, inspection tomorrow. Point being, pretty lackluster communication and execution.

I was told that if the Generac standby generator was installed in that particular area close to the gas meter where we spent time talking, the cost would be $7,500 all in and running. Later, when the written estimate came, there was an additional $2,500 for electrical wiring. Lance said that his quote was if it were on the other side of the house, which we never discussed. Liar.

They called to cancel appt at the time they were supposed to be here.
I never met them because they were a no-show to estimate the appointment.
Not good omen if they can hold themselves to their own appt time ranges. Not responsible or reliable.

This place is awful. We were rescheduled twice, the first time bc the techs truck broke down. The second time they missed the confirmed eta window due to ""confusion"" on their end. The tech finally showed up and told us we needed a Meg test and that 50% was needed to keep the appointment the next day. Someone eventually showed up, but it wasn't the original tech (who took our check), it was some dude who didn't speak English, had no idea what he was doing here, and had his speaker phone on the entire time. I declined service and it took over a week to get my check back. The operators/dispatch dept lied repeatedly to us. Promised call backs, ensured our check was with the accounting department. Come to find out, the tech had our check the entire time. We used Right Touch Electric instead and it turns out a Meg test wasn't needed at all. If you like being lied to and overpaying, by all means this company is perfect for you.
