Zack and Peter came by my house to repair an attic fan that had gone bad. They performed the repairs quickly and explained everything they did. They showed me the broken part and why it had gone bad. They also went on the roof to make sure there were no problems with the exterior installation, as a safeguard measure. Additionally, I was having some problems with the doorbell. They diagnosed the problem, testing the push button, the transformer, and the actual bell that rings. The bell is the problem, and will have them replace it once I buy one.

I found Zack on Yelp. I was in the bay area remodeling my mother's condo. When the contractor finished, a few outlets didn't work and he suggested I call an electrician. This was Friday afternoon. With only a weekend before I had to leave, I contacted Zack. He came over on Saturday, assessed the problem quickly and accurately and did the job at a fair price. He really knows the business as he has been doing this since 1977. He was dependable and on time and is now my ""go to"" electrician.

I called Zack to get an estimate and he showed up right on time. We went through all the items I needed repair and he said he would email me my estimate. I am still waiting after three weeks. Luckily, I had two other contractors to interview. I am very disappointed Zack didn't follow through, but I am very, very pleased with the contractor that did the work.

Found Zack on YELP and totally agree with the other reviews. Very knowledgable, reasonable rates, and courteous. My parents were home when he came to fix an electric problem and raved about him. Two days later we had him back to look at our furnace. It's nice to have electricity and heat. Thanks, Zack.

Zack is a true craftsman. He is pleasant, courteous and can do the work in a fraction of the time of a less experienced electrician. We asked him to replace a doorbell, and with a glance, he could identify that the transformer, not just the ringer, was the issue, and handcrafted the parts to make it work. His son Peter is also pleasant and helpful. You need not look farther for a dependable hometown electrician who will do his best to give same-day service--and can because he is so efficient rather than because he lacks customers!

You can't do better than these guys! I called and spoke to Zack early on a monday, and he was at my house later that day to bid the job. He was very easy to talk to and offered me a fair price. I accepted his bid and his partner Peter was there the next day at 9am. Peter was just as friendly and knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. I had 4 outlets, and an overhead light with a wall switch installed in my garage. There were absolutely no issues and everything was done the way it should have been done. These guys are GREAT!

I have hired Zack and Peter for all of my electrical projects. I just absolutely trust their work. Zack is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field of work, very conscientious, hard working, honest, a great communicator and has very reasonable prices.....I can go on and on.....
It is not often I am impressed with people I hire for home improvements or to work on my car, my yard, etc.. You you can say that I have high expectations and I am a bit paranoid due to past ""bad experiences"". When I hire someone to do a job, I expect ito be kept informed along the way to make sure it is done right the first time, within a reasonable time and according to our agreement. I also expect my house to be left damage free and as clean as it was when the job began.
Zack was hired to wire my condo, which has vaulted ceilings, for ceiling fans. Even though we were not planning on it, we ended up having him install the fans as well, because he made such a good impression on us. He did a great job and protected our house from any damage by using plastic protective coverings on the floors & his shoes, plus he cleaned up after himself when he was done leaving everything cleaner than before. We were truly impressed! Ever since then, whenever I, or anyone we know needs an electrician, we always recommend Zack!

I'm very pleased to write a review of A and Zack's Electric Co., and specifically of Zack. Zack is very calm, professional, and easy to deal with.

I recently hired Zack to help me wire a new 220 circuit for an air conditioner for my house. He came highly recommended from a close friend who hired him to help with wiring recessed lighting in his family room ceiling.

I was surprised when Zack actually picked up the phone to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a holiday weekend. He showed up on time and was very calm, friendly, and professional.

I made the mistake of telling him the wrong information. I thought we were supposed to have a 120 20 AMP circuit, but it was supposed to be 220. He rolled with it well, and did an excellent job. The socket he placed in the wall matched the others in our house, and he left everything clean. He even turned on our alarm system when he left.

The price he quoted was the price he charged. I have another close friend who is a general contractor, and he said Zack's price was very reasonable.

I'm a happy camper with an air conditioned house thanks to Zack. I highly recommend him.
