I had an attic fan making a lot of noise. I called AHS Home warranty. They sent out Alex from Wisdom Electric Who told me that my attic access wasn't very convenient. He then told me my fan was working fine. I tried to call him back later but the phone signal was breaking up. I called AHS and found out that Alex had filed a report that my attic fan motor burned out because of a back-flow issue and probably wouldn't be covered. The complete opposite of what he told me. The fan motor is at least 20 years old. The claim was denied because of his report. Apparently the guy does not like to work in attics.

THIS GUY IS SCAMMING AHS customers. If he is assigned to you, cancel your appointment immediately. He took one look a my attic fan , tested nothing, told me the fan is not working (which would have been covered), then wrote up the claim to AHS stating that it was a flow issues (which isn't covered). He obviously didn't want to do the work because he told me he is very bussy and fixing this problem is time consuming. Not only is that unprofessional, but he wants to show up to charge home warranty company to make his money. Be awarw of him.

Alex, the electrician, was unprofessional and outright rude. Somehow he managed to get work from homeinsurance companies ... he would not be in business otherwise. Alex cursed a lot and took a long private phone call while ""working"". Misdiagnosed problems, unable to fix. Poor communication also. AVOID!!!

Horrible company. First American home warranty assigned them to work on my fan. Worst decision they could have made. Technician told me on the first visit it appeared to be the motor as the fan was not working even by pulling the chains NADA. However he reported the problem was the remote transmitter which is not covered (how can I be he remote if even by pulling the chains on the ceiling fan it just wouldn't go?). Waiting several weeks, called the home warranty place and that is when they told me about what electrician reported. This created a huge confusion as now they were declining my service request due to wrong information. It took me a while to get someone to get an electrician to the property again to correctly asses the situation. The second visit the guy said yeah it's the motor I'll have them replace this fan for you. Weeks go by, I called wisdom electric only to be told there were no notes of that visit. Unbelievable! A few days later I get a call back saying notes were updated and home warranty place will be asked to replace fan. Several weeks later fan arrived and a new appointment was set up. They only work Monday through Friday... well my husband and I also work Monday through Friday. This company gives you a 4 hour window!! 12-4 so my husband had to miss days of work for this. It took a total of 2 months to get my fan fixed. When the electrician (same guy on all visits) was confronted about the misdiagnosis he said: well I'm here now. Ridiculous! I said wow no accountability. He says: there is accountability that's why I'm here! Seriously guy? You know how much we paid for that service contract through the home warranty??? And our dectible is 75 dollars and you caused all this trouble only for us to get a 50 dollar fan. You showing up to finally do a job that should have been completed over a month ago shows NO accountability what so ever. You wasted our time and our energy. Extremely rude, inefficient, careless and irresponsible.

I have to put a 1 star? Shame.
Home warranty(which is also garbage) sent them to my hose for a ceiling fan not working.
~1st visit, guy checks it and tells my wife the fan motor is bad. Ok cool no big deal, he's gonna submit for new fan, sweet. I call the warranty company after a week of not hearing back, they said the electrician said it was the remote control and that it's not covered. We argued I said it still doesn't work f**k him. They offer to send another company then changed their mind and sent him back.
~2nd visit, Guy checks and tells me it's the fan, no s**t you said that the first time. He says I'll submit and get a new fan 2 weeks and nothing, I call and they said there are no notes except that the remote doesn't work. FFS!! The warranty company calls them, he says oh yeah I forgot.
~3rd visit, shows up, wife says hopefully you can fix the fan this time, should've been fixed before, he says well we're here now so oh well. Puts the fan in and leaves.
Go and check and there are pieces of wires all over my floor, packaging from the new fan is left on the floor.
Horrible company, do not go through them unless you don't care about the time frame or the attitude by their employees.

Wisdom Electric Co was sent by the home warranty company that came with buying my house (First American Home Warranty - who also suck and get 0 stars).
The tech came out and straightened a wire so my power came back in an outlet (5 mins) and charged $75. He then said it would cost $700 to fix the problem.
Only accepted cash.
This place was super shady for sure.

I have to say that that I am completely dissatisfied with the service that this Electric Company has provided me. They were chosen by my home warranty company (American Home Shield). The electrician's name was Alex and he literally came in and checked out the issue and wrote me up a work order and said that they would get back to me by Monday at the latest with whether or not the warranty company would cover the issue. This was on Friday April 27th. Monday April 30th came and went, Tuesday May 1st came and went so I ended up having to call them to tell them that they never got back to me and their response was that the warranty company would not cover the work that had to be done. When I asked them what the cost would be, they said that they could get back to me the next day. They never got back to me. We ended up having to use another electrician. Just say no to this place!

Called my Home Buyers Warranty and they sent me this unprofessional Electrician. His name is Alex. He came into my house with a bad attitude, cursing while kids are in the house, and he seemed like he didn't want to do anything from the start. Its like dude, if you don't want to work don't come to work. The cursing is unnecessary, once your feet hit the door mat, wipe your feet and leave the negativity at the door. I will never let this guy into my house again, nor will I ever refer this company to anyone.

We had an extremely negative experience with this company, and feel as though they were trying to rip us off by recommending a panel upgrade that we did not need. We got a second opinion by a trusted, licensed electrician, and were able to get the problem rectified for a fraction of the cost that A Wisdom was trying to sell us on. And to top it all off, they advised me via email that they have contacted the Building Department
to advise them of our ""unpermitted electrical panel,"" despite the fact that we never agreed to the work and never asked them to pull permits for our home. I can only imagine this was retribution for leaving a 1 star review on the AHS survey. This is one shady business; I would not recommend them to anyone, unless you're made of money and don't care about throwing it away on silly upgrades that won't make your home safer or more functional.

Electrician was very professional, was able to diagnose my problem and came to our house right away.
AHS sent him and I'm so thankful that we had such a great experience,
