I used this company today to fix the cieling fan which was not working. They gave me the time slot 10:00 am to 01:00 pm, but no one showed up until 2:00 and that was after I made two calls for ETA. Once the electrician, Alex, arrived he was fast, knowledgable and fixed the fan very quickly, he did fix an electric socket for an extra charge too. All in all it was a satisfactory encounter with this company but I lost my entire work day.

Recently used A Wisdom for the first time, like many others this was via AHS home warranty. I don't write many reviews but wanted to do so (an unsolicited review, BTW) in this case as I was really pleased with the experience and I've had much more frustrating experiences with AHS and their assigned contractors in the past. Alex showed up on time, was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. I had a short circuit and he troubleshot and resolved the issue in about 45 minutes. Even better, I didn't have to wait for a call in to AHS to get 'approval', he just went right to work fixing my problem with no BS, no false diagnoses, no hassle. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute RIP OFF

AHS warranty will automatically send this company. Guy on the phone is terribly rude by the way. They will charge $75. Do NOTHING and leave. That's IT!

If you call and complain enough time and sit through the AHS 30 minute hold eventually someone will call and say ""oh, that's not covered.""

$75 FOR NOTHING.

A Wisdom Electric Co was sent to my by my home warranty (AHS). After reading reviews I was a bit concerned with what to expect. I have to say that Alex came out and replaced my defective outlets, repaired the bathroom exhaust fan and did so efficiently and professionally. I'm confident that those who may have not received authorization from AHS might be a bit disappointed. As for the service provided by Alex..... Great!

I have a home warranty through First American Home Warranty and half of the electricity went out (including my A/C) in my house. I called in a service request and they assigned A Wisdom Electric Company who called me fairly quickly to make an appointment the next day between 11-3. My roommate was going to be home to let them in but unfortunately he had taken several pain pills due to his hip replacement and fell asleep. The repairman called me at 1:40 pm and said no one was answering the door. I asked if there was a car in the carport and he said there was so I told him my roommate had to be home, to try the other door and I would try calling him. I called a total of 18 times within a 20 minute period but my roommate did not answer; I called the repairman back and he said he tried knocking on both doors repeatedly but that there did not appear to be anyone home. He was kind enough to wait until 2:00 pm and gave me the number of their office to call and reschedule. I called the next morning at 10:15 and got an answering machine so I left a very detailed message explaining what had happened and that I wanted to reschedule asap. No response. So I called the home warranty company a few hours later and told them what had happened, and that I called the contractor to reschedule but they hadn't gotten back to me. So the rep put me on hold and said she would call the contractor to see what was going on. I told her they probably were upset that there was no one to let them in. Anyway, she got a hold of them and they told her they would be calling me to reschedule and confirmed they had my cell number. I waited all weekend and still no call from the contractor. Meanwhile, no A/C in the house in 80+ degree weather, and I suspect there is a short of some kind which may be a fire hazard. So I called the warranty company again to complain and they called the contractor and they said they could come out Wednesday afternoon (almost a full week after my first call!!!!). I told the home warranty company that I didn't want this contractor, and told them they should see all of the negative reviews they have on Yelp and that they should not use them. HORRIBLE, NON-EXISTENT ""CUSTOMER SERVICE""!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE UNPROFESSIONAL JERKS!!!

My A/C has not been working for 2 weeks. AHS sent an A/C contractor out who diagnosed the problem as a bad switch on the fan. They recommended getting an electrician. AHS in their infinite wisdom sent out another A/C contractor who diagnosed the same problem. AHS is brilliant...Not. They finally assigned Wisdom Electric to the job. The same day I got the e-mail, I called them before they called me. Alex was at my house an hour later. He confirmed the bad switch and replaced it. The speed that they took care of the problem was much appreciated. I would definitely use them again. Even without AHS.

Alex was quick to come out and very nice. My problem turned out not to be an electrical issue, but I was very pleased with the service. He was even willing to get on the phone with the appliance company and try to remedy the issue we were having. Would definitely use them again if needed
