We first met Tony owner of A to Z Electric when we hired him to investigate and fix an outside gfi circuit that quit and failed to reset. He quickly resolved that problem. We have since had him install canned lights in a dining room including installation of smart switches, pulling neutral wires when needed for that. Now we can control those lights with Alexa and the additional light in the dining room makes such a difference. We also had him install a bathroom fan and light. His pricing was reasonable and fair. From observing him work I can say Tony understands what he is doing and always produces clean and safe electrical connections and he can make sense out of your old wiring in your home giving you the upgrades you ask for. We will definitely hire Tony again if future electrical needs arise.

Great job. Checked 3 diff breaker boxes when outlets to 3 separate rooms went out and found a blown fuse in the box I didn't even know was still active. Nothing agitates me more than having someone agree to provide a service and not follow through. I spoke with Tony on a Friday evening to check his availability for the weekend. He agreed to visit my residence and inspect a tripping circuit breaker on Sunday afternoon after 5:00 pm, possibly sooner on Saturday - pending his work schedule. I was assured, and confirmed, Tony would be available on Sunday to address my concerns after providing my address. He failed to call on Saturday, verifying his availability and did not show up on Sunday (like he said). I feel duped knowing I devoted my time that was lost during the weekend for his lack of commitment and failure to appear.

Thankfully, I called a neighboring provider, Dave's Quality Electric and was able to speak with Dave who talked me through the steps necessary to fix my problem (even texted him photos of my electrical concerns). I am not providing acclaim for Dave's business in this post, rather addressing praise for Dave's values of being honest and saving me $150.00 for an unnecessary service call. Tony, take notice of your competitors and have the decency (at a minimum) to address the needs of potential customers, even if it means cancelling last minute. At a minimum, I would respect you for that common decency.

I called Tony in to do an upgrade of the electrical in advance of a kitchen remodel. The job required installing a new sub panel and multiple outlets, including dedicated ones for the microwave and refrigerator; the replacement of floods and addition of new ones; replacement of associated switches, and basically anything else necessary to bring an older home up to code. Doing all this required routing through ceiling and walls, working within the existing shell of sheetrock . He did an amazing job. In some areas cutting into the walls and ceiling was unavoidable (he always checked with me and explained why) but his replacement patches are as tidy as a professional sheet rocker could do. All of his work was super neat and looks really solid.
Whatever else happens with my remodel I have full confidence that this part of the infrastructure upgrade has been done really well. Happy to give a five star rating.

Tony the technician, was able to juggle his schedule to fix our electrical issue in the same day. He performed a thorough inspection of practically every light switch and plug, and was able to remedy the problem in a reasonable time frame.
