Adam Sniadowski established A.S. Electric in 2002, driven by a commitment to quality workmanship and honest pricing. Frustrated by the unsafe and inadequate electrical work he saw while working for others, Adam decided to start his own company. Adam realized that many customers were not only paying multiple times to correct these issues but that such poor workmanship posed serious safety risks. This need for improved integrity and quality in electrical work in South Florida became the driving force behind A.S. Electric's mission.
As the founder, owner, and operator of A.S. Electric Inc. since 2002, I have dedicated myself to quality service at a fair price. Prior to launching my own business, I worked in the installation and repair of fire alarm systems. I remain dedicated to providing quality service at a fair price.

The email feature on their website was broken, so I ended up calling. Their website says they do free estimates, so I tried to book one.The person who I spoke to said they would not do an estimate for the installation of 3 outlets. They then didn't offer a pricing breakdown, so I decided to look elsewhere.

You have to read this, can't believe it's true but it is. I had some previous work done at my new home by AS Electric. Work was shoddy, and never completed, had to hire another electrician. As a result we had as expected a dispute on his last invoice.We we're in the process of working it out. I had a buyer for my house several months later and he was, coincidentally, hired to do the electrical inspection by the buyer. I get a text ""Karma is a bitch"" and he, Adam Sniadowski the owner, texted me and my designer threatening texts about a lawsuit and how he's going to write some damning remarks on my inspection. And he did just that, he wrote ""unprofessional electrical work"" on the winters house even though it was him that did the work. This company is not only terrible at work product and service, the owner is extremely unethical and I would avoid them at all cost. See the texts he sent below

I needed a fan/light fixture replaced and another light fixture (just the light) within a day or so. This company sent someone within 24 hours, and on the message, said they would charge $85.00 an hour, so I booked them. I had a guest staying over and needed the fan/light working on the guest bedroom. The technician arrived and first asked me if I had a ladder. He had to go back downstairs to get the ladder and replaced the first light fixture which was a little loose, and I asked him if he could make it tighter to the ceiling so there was no gap from the hole. He said he would have to go back downstairs again to get a screwdriver to try. He then moved to the guest room to look at the light/fan fixture. I had bought the same one and opened the brand new box in front of him. He suggested we left the fan and replaced the little box inside that connects to the remote control, and left the new fan in the box for future. I agreed. He went up the ladder, removed the fan, replaced the inside part, and tested and it worked. He then told me that he would need to charge me over $160.00, and I emailed the company because they quoted $85.00, to check how much for the hour and a half, and they ended up charging me $127.50. That's fine, but I was a little out of by the fact that he had to go back downstairs twice and then tried to charge me a 2 hour rate for it. After he left, my guest arrived and I slept in the room where the service had been done. I noticed the fan was making a noise and it was not possible to sleep with it. I turned it off and contacted the company the next day. The owners suggested I bought a new fan. The Electtician said this problem was probably the motor and if we used the fan I had in the box, he could probably fix it. After speaking to the owner on the phone, I was going to buy a new fan, but after the Electtician said the new fan I had was fine, I went back to the owner and asked him what he thought. He kept repeating we didn't touch any motor and it you want us to go back you have to make a new appointment and pay a new visit. I suggested I would try another company because if I had to pay again, I would rather pay a company that would offer a warranty on their service. In the meantime, I saw a message on Yelp from AS saying they would send the technician to check the fan free of charge, but when I told the owner that, he texted me saying, ""for the last time"", we didn't touch your motor. I was definitely not looking for such aggravation and going back and forth for a fan installation. I will try another company that said could offer me warranty on their service. I would rather pay another company and buy another fan, than having to go back and forth and be talked to like that. I will post some pictures later.

We are handling the sale of a condo from out of state during Covid and we are thrilled that we hired AS Electric to handle the electrical issues from the inspection. Adam has been efficient, organized, helpful and diligent in handling all aspects of the work. We cant commend AS Electric enough for being honest, efficient and organized. This became the easiest part of the sale and we are thrilled to have found them

I had a few outlets that stopped working so I called A S Electric. It was pretty late in the day but they were able to get to me the very next morning. Adam showed up when he said he would found the problem, explained it and fixed it quickly. Awesome service at a good price and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs service!

We were informed that the electric plug to our fairly new hot water heater was damaged accidentally by our maintenance man. One of the three prongs had broken off in the receptacle and the box popped and turned black. We were returning to Florida that day and frantically called A S Electric. The following morning George arrived and after navigating through the paperwork our condo requires assed the situation and got to work. The space is cramped and we know that he was challenged, but he was tenacious and ultimately victorious. We had hot water!!! Thank You George! Thank You Adam!

I would totally recommend him to anybody who needs a great electrician.

I've never negated a review of mine before so this is a compliment to Adam. He may come across as a tad arrogant or cocky, because he's very good at what he does, but if you can sqeeze into his work log you'll be in good hands, totally confident with the electrical work in your home. He and I had opposing decorating ideas and my husband messed up his work, but all ended well because Adam is a seasoned negotiator and the job got done!
