Established in 2014, we are experts in residential and commercial electrical work. We take care of all aspects of electrical work, from outdoor parking lot lighting to indoor electrical panels, working closely with our clients to determine any electrical issues or requirements.
John W. Anderson (J.W.) started A Renewable Electric in 2014 following a lengthy career in electrical work, starting as a helper in 1987, and later transitioning to an apprentice while studying and working full-time to reach journeyman status. He achieved the journeyman test in 1998 and became a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In 2005, he was hired with the City of Houston and started ARE LLC in 2014. In 2018, he made the decision to retire from his position with the City of Houston to focus on A Renewable Electric LLC full-time.
