Like most people I called Luis when I had a problem, I couldn't get the power back on, even after flipping the breakers. He came right away and had to trace the problem from multiple angles. There was an issue with the ground in one of the 10 outlets on the line. He fixed the problem and charged a reasonable fee but that's not the end of the story. My house was built in 1987 and since we moved in (2005), we've had a few of these hard to find issues. When I asked Luis what I could do to fix the problems once and for all, he offered a simple and affordable solution. He came back the following week and replaced all outlets, checked the wiring and tightened connections in every switch and replaced all of my old breakers with new ones. It was a complete overhaul. He and Jesus were here all day and got the job done. Again he charged a fair price for his work. He also discovered and fixed 3 major issues that were caused by previous contractors. Thank you Luis for the great service.

Professional, reliable, expert work. Luis and his team did a fabulous job installing my new chandeliers. I purchased my lighting from Light Styles in Costa Mesa and asked them for the very best installer they knew. I had concerns about my tall ceilings and wanted an expert. Halfway into the install we ran into a hiccup with the infrastructure of my ceiling that needed some reinforcement. He was able to modify the plan no sweat and got my lights installed as promised. I am following up a review I wrote on October 29th, 2020, after an excellent fan installation. I called A Plus Electric to replace all my recessed lighting, including dimmer switches. All the lighting in my house is recessed, as most homes are, built in the past 10 years. I noticed the original lights were going out. I was concerned how to change the bulbs, as several were in high, vaulted ceilings and others, requiring a ladder to access. At my ""maturing"" age, I thought it be best to swap out approximately 50 lights to LED lighting. I called Luis, the owner and made an appointment to do the work. He was busy, but, in spite of his schedule, he was able to accommodate me. Luis and his assistant, Jesus, arrived on time. They both wore masks and put on shoe covers and worked from 8:30am to 5pm. The installation went seamlessly. All the while, Luis and Jesus answered my questions with patience and explained the work progress without being prompted. Due to the job requiring a longer installation process, than anticipated, they were always consistently nicely tempered and in good spirits. At day's end, there was still additional installation required to complete the job. Jesus returned the following day, working diligently and explaining how the installation of both recessed lighting and dimmers paired together and explained details of their effectiveness. I so appreciated his volunteering an educational insight to this installation, without my asking. All the while, Jesus always had a smile on his face and both Jesus and Luis's good spirts about some additional requests I added on to a very long process were so very much appreciated. I can't say enough how very satisfied I am with A Plus Electric, Luis and Jesus. I would give 10 stars if given the option :)) 2020 has been a challenging year for all. Luis and Jesus brought a welcome breath of fresh air into my life. Thank you, once again, Luis and Jesus and I will be contacting you, again, to attend to my ongoing list........

I recently got several electrical outlets and my light fixture over my table centered. I was very impressed with Luis and his helper aka as the CEO. He showed up when he said he was coming. He gave me a fair bid that was very reasonable. They worked VERY efficiently and cleaned up behind themselves. I am so happy with the work. I Highly recommend this company!

Exceptional Experience - highly recommend! I found Luis through Lightstyles in Costa Mesa. Unlike many contractors, he communicated clearly with me (no surprises) he was always very prompt, he obviously is very experienced. I love that he provides solutions not just tell me the problems. In addition to putting up 6 new lights, I had electrical issues (older house), but he just got down to solving them without any drama. He worked quickly, efficiently for a competitive price. He's a really nice person and it was a very pleasant experience.
