We are in La Mirada, and we called A M & G last night because it was after 6PM and they were the only ones with high ratings and extended hours (and days). They were kind and honest about the work needed. They fixed the problem and did it well and fast. They are like a throw back to the old days when people took pride in doing good business. And let me tell you, the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely call them again.

Short notice but needed emergency service and the original electrician I called was not able to make it and cancelled our appointment at the last minute. This was disappointing as my family waited for the electrician to arrive.

Called A M & G Electric and George was able to get his crew over to my house within an hour. Provided what was needed inside and outside of our house. Both George Sr. and George Jr. and 2 other of his team was able to stop by before their next scheduled job. Everything was completed as expected and the price was totally reasonable not to mention that they had to pick up parts for our needs.

For folks who uses Yelp, I recommend them and as a tip, yelp reviews are important of who you choose. Opinions from people does matter and make sure there are more than 10 reviews.

I would give more stars if I can. George Jr was very professional and answered all my questions patiently explaining everything. From the first phone call to my issue being fixed, it took a couple hours. I will definitely call again for any and all future electrical issues.

George was really great and told us exactly what he could do and how much it would be. He also arrived earlier than he said he would which was awesome. We had a plug that blew out and also fried the wiring in the wall where our washer and dryer is. He ended up running a separate line from our electrical box to a brand new plug in the laundry room separate from the rest of the house so it would never happen again. He was extremely reasonable in pricing and I would 100% recommend him for any and all electrical work.

Just finished getting an panel upgrade and relocate by AM&G. This family business runs like a fine oiled machine. George Sr., the owner, spent a good amount of time explaining clearly everything we needed to know with my wife and I. Compared to 4 other bids, they were the most affordable and honest. On day one, George Sr. started by introducing his crew, great guys. George Jr., Mike, and others were very polite, respectful, professional, and hard working. No time wasted. Day 2, as promised, the job was complete. Also, these guys went above and beyond by fixing some unsafe/poor job that a previous Electrician left behind. I referred these guys to my dad and coworkers. Gotta check them out.

Despite his busy schedule, George was able to squeeze me in on the very day I called. None of the other 3 electricians I found here on Yelp even bothered returning my calls. George was friendly and knowledgeable. He resolved my lighting issues (front porch light and light by the garage outside won't work - turned out to be the fixtures themselves) with the help of his son and another apprentice. He asked me what my budget was and picked up the fixtures for me. Great service!

It's Sunday night, I am making homemade pizzas, got them all sauced up and topped up and I turn on the ovens to bake them! Preheating...and then maybe 5 minutes later, they both turn off. Oh no! My ovens died! Husband is smart, flips the breakers. Yay! We are back in business! Then they turn off again. He goes outside to flip them again and tells me, game over. The breakers are busted. The panel smells burnt, no pizzas for us tonight. We need new breakers.

On Monday morning he contacted four different businesses through Yelp. One never got back to him, one was booked up through the end of June, and two contacted him with a quote. A M & G Electric won the bid by a lot! Their labor was WAY less than the other place quoted. Hubby decided to go out and buy the breakers himself to save a few bucks, and talked to George about coming out to replace them. George said he could he here by 7 AM on Tuesday.

He showed up this morning before 7, and replaced the breakers in less than 20 minutes. I was so happy to come home to working ovens and to be able to make my pizzas that I had carefully preserved in the fridge.

If we are ever in need of emergency electrical work, or any other electrical work in general, I know A M & G will be the first place we call!

Jorge jr. Came by early morning to fix an issue we had with a outlet. We called around 8am and he came by and made the repairs ib about a hour. Also, he found that my outlet plug was arching which could have started a fire. I am going to call theses guys back to check out my entire home. Thanks
