So I'm a moron and decided that I could change light switches no problem. Then I took the light switch apart, couldn't get it working, and then forgot how to just install the old ones. I called these guys and they were super helpful and came out within the hour. Gave me a great deal even though it was after hours, on Valentine's Day, and my total screw up. Hope to use these guys every time in the future.

I called on a Saturday and he came out on Monday. He even went the extra mile, and made sure that my electrical line was safe by installing sheathing.

I contacted A & M recently and they were able to quickly send a technician out. The technician arrived on time and was able to resolve my issue. They installed a smart switch and repaired a couple of other switches that weren't working properly. The technician explained his work, showed me how to use the switch, and was very friendly. If you need prompt and affordable electrical work, I recommend A & M.

Voicing my opinion, I attempted to do business with this company as shown by the attached photo messages. The company responded promptly within an hour or two stating someone would be contacting me to provide an estimate of service. A ""week"" later not even a phone call/email/text concerning the inquiry. So I wrote them back using YELP to let them know I had not been contacted and I'd be moving on; and as shown my the picture, the owner of this company thought it was a best; rather than potentially apologizing for the delay or showing any type of empathy for the inconvenience: ""Heather"" states good luck with my search. Is this the day and age we live in with customer service? As an owner I would have picked up the phone and just dialed the potential client. Instead of taking the high road, she chose to take the ""I didn't need your business anyway"" approach. I had provided my government cell number to this company and they had an opportunity of making things right and they didn't. This warrants/validates the need for this review since the provided experiences are what YELP is all about. I hope your experience goes better, but I personally would do business with any other company. Treatment like that especially from an owner shows the true nature of the business.

After contacting A&M Electrical Services I was highly surprised at the expeditious installation and repair accomplished by this company. The requirement I had was for the replacement of one ceiling fan and the repair of a second fan lighting system. Additionally I had several electrical outlets that required replacement and had a problem with my out door electrical outlets. When I contacted A&M Heather established a scheduled time for the very next day. Upon their arrival the team of Anthony and Mark immediately reviewed my requirements and problems and provided me guidance on how they would accomplish the work. Both gentlemen were professional and they replaced the fan in the living room and repaired the fan in my upstairs bedroom. Mark also identified the problem that I had with the outside outlets and corrected it immediately. I can not say enough about how very pleased I am with the service that was provided by this company.

I reached out to A&M electrical for help repairing a badly chewed electrical cord to our ceiling fan (courtesy of our family dog). I had been quoted a hefty price tag for repair by other electrical services, some even suggesting that the fan be replaced entirely. Heather and team quoted a reasonable price to repair the cord and were extremely friendly and professional. The electricians who assisted me were done with the repair in about 30 minutes! I was very impressed with the speed of service and hope to use this company again in the future. Thank you A & M!

I hate to even give these people 1 star. Do not call them. They do not know what they are doing. I am having solar installed in my home and as part of the process I was given a new Ecobee3 thermostat. The solar company hired A&M to install the thermostat. A&M did not keep the 1st appointment claiming they called me when clearly neither of my phones had a call from them, then, when they did show up, they wired the thermostat so badly that the heat came on and heated my house up to 83 degrees. I called them immediately and tried to get them to help me but they obviously didn't know what to do. At that point I was exhausted and nearly hysterical because we were burning up but I was able to get a technician from Ecobee by phone to help me get the heat off and some air on. Every time the technician tried to help me with the rest of the installation, the heat kept coming back on so we just left it at that point overnight with the understanding that A&M was to come back today to fix it. When they came (really late) he walked right past me saying he was going to put my old thermostat back on. I told him no, the solar company is paying you to install this thermostat and if you call the Ecobee help line they will walk you through the installation. He started screaming in my face that he didn't need anyone to tell him anything, that the problem was that I have a wire missing, and that I had been nothing but rude with him since day one. He was yelling so much my daughter ran out to see what was happening and is now afraid to leave me alone. I had to threaten to call the police to get them out of my house. When I was on the phone with Ecobee they did not seem to feel there was a wire missing but there is a loose wire hanging down that was never connected. And at least two wires were connected incorrectly. I give them 0 on customer service and 0 on knowledge.

As busy professionals my wife and I don't have a lot of time to schedule things, but when we called your company we were very pleased on the courteous customer service we received. The appt. was set and your crew showed up right on time, installed our new lighting fixtures in our fine dining and breakfast area and the can lighting in the living room and master bedroom. Oh, and also replaced my existing ceiling fan in the living. What a difference it has made in our home. And at a really affordable price. We can see clearly now!!! Contacted K&M Electrical to have some recessed lighting installed in my older condo. I needed to have the existing fixture removed and the recessed lighting fixtures put in. My experience from beginning to end was amazing, and the price was very fair especially compared to the bigger more established electrical companies here in SA (Google ""electricians in San Antonio"" and I called almost every one).

I left a message on a Sunday evening and was emailed back that night that I'd be contacted with a general quote. I was called back the very next day to work out the details. Heather called me back with some general questions and then forwarded me onto Marc who needed the technical details. He gave me a range of options on how to get what I needed done from purchasing my own materials to them providing everything. I went with purchasing my own materials because my situation was a little unique (internet connected LED bulbs). While I was informed that because I'd be using my own materials and K&Ms 1-year warranty on the work wouldn't apply, I was assured that I'd be taken care of and the work would be done professionally and right the first time. They were able to schedule me the next morning. Heather called me later that afternoon to confirm the next morning's appt and to make sure the materials I needed to purchase to get the job done were correct.

Tuesday morning I was called once again by Heather to give me a status and to let me know K&M were on their way. They were on time and extremely friendly but professional when they arrived. They took a look at what they were going to be doing, gave me some good advice on placement, and then got to work. These guys work fast and precise, measured everything exactly to make sure the lights went in the way I wanted them to. They took the time to explain what they needed to do, and how they'd do it.

To sum it up, looking for this type of work can be daunting and the opportunity to overcharge is very easy. K&M made me feel comfortable and confident that they're work was expert and no corners were cut, all at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend these guys to anyone, and definitely plan on using them again. The experience was good enough for me to write my first yelp review as I know how hard it is to find good electrical work at a fair price.
